# About Funding Proposals

# Share Your Project and Request Funding

To participate, follow these steps:

1. **Share** : [Create a new post](https://talk.harmony.one/new-topic?category=funding-proposals) under the [Funding Proposals] category in the forum. Follow the post template to ensure all questions are answered.

1. **Promote** : Share your post far and wide and encourage the community to interact and ask questions.

Allow some time for the community to learn about your project. If there is enough interest, we will reach out to discuss next steps.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate their ideas are well thought out and they must promote and share their proposal with the wider community on Twitter, Reddit etc. The more interest in the project, the higher your chances of receiving funding.

**Tax and Legal.** For KYC/AML and accounting purposes, send to Harmony in private your driver license (or equivalent identification), phone number and home address - kyc@harmony.one. For calculating the amount of ONE tokens as payment in USD, Harmony uses the 24-hour volume-weighted average price using the [Binance API](https://api.binance.com/api/v1/ticker/24hr?symbol=ONEUSDT) (“weightedAvgPrice”) around the time of transfer.
