When I try to claim rewards I get this message: # Failed # You are currently not on the Harmony Mainnet network in Metamask. Please choose Harmony Mainnet to continue. However, I’m on the mainnet with Metamask, and I’ve been doing it the same way for years. Why does it not work now? I tried logging off, changing network, and nothing works… Help? ---

Hey Sophoah, still having no luck 2 years later… and support is non existent anywhere else I’ve looked. (Even Ai told me there’s no help for ONE sadly) move ahead to 2026 this is still the same problem. When using metamask and you try to claim even a small reward on Staking, it always claims you’re not on the Harmony Mainet, even if you are. So this must be an issue directly with the website To clarify: Website is: [Harmony – Open Consensus for 10B](https://staking.harmony.one/portfolio/mainnet) Metamask: anywhere, chrome extension or mobile app, etc has same results the settings used are: Network Name: Harmony Mainnet Shard 0 Default RPC URL: api.harmony.one Chain ID: 1666600000 Currency Symbol: ONE Block explorer URL: explorer.harmony.one Have tried every suggestion so far, but simply cannot claim rewards anymore. It did once work years ago. ---

After following step 4 from easyone? What’s the error are you having ? do you have enough ONE to pay for gas (make sure you have at least 0.1 ONE) ? ---

I tried step 4 and am still getting the same error saying I am not on the Harmony Mainnet network in Metamask. I can see my balance and what’s available. I have more ONE than needed to pay the gas. ---

You have to setup the RPC exactly as it says, the easiest way though is to add it directly from [here](https://chainlist.org/chain/1666600000). ---

That’s the thing. My wallet and balance shows up when I go to the Harmony site. I just cant claim my rewards. I followed the steps and when I sign back in, the balance on the site and the balance in my wallet match. It just keeps saying I’m not on the network somehow. Please don’t send private messages. ---

Again, you have to have the exactly named network from [chainlist.org](http://chainlist.org) - Delete your RPC and add the proper one. ---

Done but still same message. Harmony Mainnet Shard 0 is showing. Used chainlist to bring the network over FAILED You are currently not on the Harmony Mainnet network in Metamask. Please choose Harmony Mainnet to continue. ---

Very odd, no issues have been reported for years with staking/claiming. I would make sure you’re following the guide exactly and adding the RPCs with the proper names.
