I’m a Social Scientist born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, with more than 20 years of experience in the arts, from music to visual arts. My Master in Design resulted in a thesis published as a book in Portuguese about electronic art.
My Ph.D. is in Bioethics with studies on technology and society, ethics on AI, and robotics.
My interest in the Blockchain started in 2017 when I joined “Women in Blockchain” (on Whatsapp) and collaborated briefly with colleagues that are now experts in the area.
Due to the intensity of my academic research, which resulted in more than ten papers/essays published about AI, Bioethics, and Robotics and a book on ‘body, philosophy and machines,’ I entered the NFT scene a few months ago. Rather than promoting only my work as an artist, I started calling researchers, artists, and other professionals to engage on the DAO ‘Aldeia Crypto’ as it makes more sense to me, to overcome the first difficulties artists and buyers (collectors) have to enter the space.
