We are still in discussions with Aave. The Aave Core team advised us to go through the community and governance process on the Aave forums. However, the Aave community has rejected our proposals three times. R1 has now approached the Aave Core team directly again, asking them to assist users in the recovery process.
If we can help put pressure on the Aave community, it may push the Aave Core team to take action. So far, it has been a frustrating process, but we will continue engaging with both the Aave community and the Core team until they step in to help affected users.
