Here is the update from harmony regarding the new recovery plan:
How is R1 looking at all of this? I mean how vague can harmony team be? They don’t state any numbers, no mention on how much of the treasury they will use.
In the meantime, since the hack, about 8 million $ left the treasury…

Every proposal has been rejected by the community. I understand all agruments but when there’s a disagreement we should have a counter-proposal not a criticism. I am indifferent to the the solution as long as there is a path forward, Saying each Idea that has been proposed without even proposing an alternative solution is counter productive. We have community members actively doing their part such as Repegging Node and Recovery 0ne. If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.

I fully agree that this is becoming non sense. We are waiting for four monthes and each time the strategy changes. Now, this is even more unclear than the very first proposal. It has to stop now!

It seems like there has been a lot of new Harmony announcements but very little detail. R1 has been very detailed. We need details & specifics on this new recovery plan.
i think 5% of total hacked assets says it all here, thats not enough for a good support
and naturally since votes were with rONE most that did it voted yes, the rest that didnt, most likely dont like the solution and would vote no if they could, so this vote means very little in the end and i think a proper vote will show that

I am the user (victim) and my assets are frozen in AAVE. Is recovery of my assets from AAVE a separate negotiation? If yes, who is conducting it? Where can I stay updated about this?
MaewouOne, we thank you for supporting Recovery One. However, I will not respond to your negative goodwill. I can say R1 is working hard for 1Asset holders and the Harmony ecosystem.
Harmony leadership recognized the community’s support for R1. I think they were surprised by the quick adoption during the 6-day mint period and unanimous support during the 4-day vote. (The R1 team was surprised too).
The community wants action and I understand (as I read your post) you want action too. We have been told action/recovery will start 10/10/22.
We are currently negotiating with Harmony to deliver a solution 1.) recover depegged assets, and 2.) strengthening the Harmony ecosystem (Official Recovery One Vote Announcement.pdf - Google Drive)
Recovery One will continue to promote collaboration through a community-governed action.

Completely agree. The <5% turnout is extremely underwhelming and I’m struggling to see how this can be seen as anything less than an emphatic rejection of the R1 proposal.
There can’t really be much surprise that the majority of those staking their assets for R1 were going to vote in favour of the proposal… The important metric was how many bothered to get involved.

that’s how governance works, if you don’t vote, you don’t get a say. Hence the need for a second vote escalated to the greater ONE community. But I hear ya.
That being said, R1 is the most supported plan in the ecosystem and we hope to make a difference in the recovery process alongside any other partners that step up to the plate and offer redemption mechanisms.

It would be nice if you would keep a log and share with the community about your interactions with Harmony One. It does not have to be detailed, need only be brief.
It would help keep our hearts calmer as we would see harmony team actually working instead of relying on a few tweets from the organisation.

Other commentators on this thread, we are all reading deep seeded, negative emotional language. Yes, the bridge incident happened, yes it’s a crypto bear market, we have record high inflation, monetary systems are breaking, and a US recession is looming, but negative breeds more negativity. Recovery One chooses to be focused and dialed into our mission
R1 is working hard to provide a sustanbialbe future for all parties. Details and actions are coming 10/10/22. The rONE mint closed on 6/23 and rONE was used to vote. Unstaking back to 1Assets is the natural process.

I want my assets unlocked from AAVE asap. This is the way to reduce my negativity to zero, when I am back in the control of my assets. Thank you.

Same here. I am more than willing to contribute all i can to the recovery of harmony, i have provided already all the infos i can on aave harmony to help the recovery plan for it. But how can I stay positive with all my assets not accessible on aave since four monthes?

Unarge4 and zoufou, your sentiment is understood. The R1 team is working on the recovery for all depegged 1Assets holders. Yes, we are communicating with Aave. Details and actions are coming 10/10/22.
Also, for those of you asking, you can unstake rONE back to depegged bridged assets.
