AthleteFi has been awarded a Development Grant by the Community Transaction Fee DAO on Harmony, with funding officially distributed on March 15, 2025. This Grant supports the continued development of AthleteFi’s Web3-powered marketplace, designed to connect athletes and coaches through a decentralized platform for services and education.

Proposal History
AthleteFi submitted its proposal for funding in late 2024. On January 28, 2025, the Community Transaction Fee DAO voted to approve the request. Following this approval, the grant was disbursed on March 15.

  1. Who is part of the ‘community transaction fee dao’ ? Feel free to elaborate as this smells like insider resources sharing

Community Transaction Fee DAO

The Community Transaction Fee DAO is a 5-member DAO on Harmony that allocates transaction fees to fund network, infrastructure, and ecosystem projects, ensuring sustainable growth and developer support.

It does not state who are members and how the voting procedure works… Also; I feel these fees could be used or set to work in a more effective way (for example providing more swapping liquidity).

  1. How is the traction at AthleteFi.com going? any meaningfull numbers prior to receiving unknown amount of fees?

So far the medium article is filled with vaque words and buzzword bingo. Since the h1 modus operandi is to write clear and meaningfull articles (read up on how to write like an amazonian) am I a bit baffled by this decision.

I think we all know Harmony needs more projects, ya know? Personally, I think Harmony could do a better job bringing projects to the chain.

Congratulations on your grant, as per usual zero communication from this DAO or HarmonyONE.
FlappyH1/ CLD have been asking for financial support for 6 months now, [ Directly with CORETEAM/ Founders ], and have never even heard of this option.

We inquired with Harmony about grant opportunities; none were available. They recommended the Community Tx Fee DAO as a potential resource. AthleteFi submitted a request for a Dev Award, which was approved and put to a vote by the five-member group.

AthleteFi is in Phase 1, building a sustainable Web3 sports marketplace in the $52B athletic industry.
