Pixeldeers Christmas NFT Collection on Harmony
Bringing a special NFT collection from Etherium to Harmony to share the holiday spirit!
Proposal overview
Tis the season! Christmas is our favorite time of the year. So for the past couple of weeks we have been tirelessly designing a set of “Pixeldeers” with different rarity levels and unique styles. We started with hand-drawn Christmas deers and then used generative programming to produce 3000 unique NFTs.
We believe in the magic of Christmas and so we want to use this NFT collection to raise funds for children hospitals.
Proposal ask
We started deploying a smart contract on Immutable X (Etherium layer 2). However, after meeting Li and the Harmony team in Lisbon, we decided to bring this collection to Harmony. Harmony is not just a project, but a movement as it strives to provide fast validation time and ensure that blocks can be created in seconds with near-instant finality for transactions on the ledger. We believe in the community and vision of Harmony One and want to bring our project from ETH to Harmony.
We will use the grant to hire developers, deploy the Harmony SDK and allow for NFT minting in Harmony One on our website (https://www.pixeldeers.com/ Password: Deers). In addition to that, we will use the grant to boost publicity and foster social virality. Depending on the agreed scale and reach of the marketing campaign (to be aligned with the Harmony One team), the project will require between $30-50k in Harmony One to get off the ground.
We hope that the unique art style of the Pixeldeers, as well as the focus on the most magical and harmonious season of the year will give us the necessary boost to succeed in the crowded NFT market of late 2021 beyond.
Progress so far
All 3000 unique Pixeldeers are ready to find a new home for the holidays! We also pitched the project to Bruno Marshall from the DaVinci NFT marketplace and got buy-in for a key partnership. DaVinci will help us set up events to promote the collection and will also prominently feature the Pixeldeers on the DaVinci homepage. A similar partnership can be established across several Harmony NFT platforms and the broader ecosystem.
The roadmap for future development includes plans for giveaways, contests and ideas for redistributing royalties back to the community.

Timeline
We’re just getting started… but Christmas songs are already everywhere and it’s already getting very cold outside. December is a short month, so we will rely on the Harmony grant to scale up the promotion of the collection before Christmas. The pre-sale should be available to people on the ‘snow’ whitelist as early as the 3rd advent. The public sale should start on Christmas Eve, December 24th. Let’s bring Christmas joy and Pixeldeers to the world together!
