The team at Marinus Protocol are former users of the Harmony network and big fans of DefiKingdoms.
We have migrated from users to developers and would like to work with the Harmony team or at least the community.
There are a few proposals for recovery and very few are currently still functioning. We have crunched the numbers and understand the inflationary nature of ONE.
However at the current stage we are working on creating a validator node and will implement staking and lending with the pure thought of taking any additional fees that the community does not use, purchasing de-pegged assets and burning them.
We would like an official way of doing this from the Harmony Team but if that cannot be reached we plan on sending assets to the unofficial burn address of:
one1qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqquzw7vz (or 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000).
We’re also developing a token counter to help us notate how much of the de-pegged assets have been burned.
With the Team and Community’s support we will continue but please let us know what we can do to help! The idea of the network was amazing. The 2022 Horizon hack was a mistake that should and can be fixed. Let’s rebuild the trust and bring back developers to what was once a thriving chain.
