Internationally acclaimed DJ BLOND:ISH has secured 501c3 nonprofit status for her environmental foundation ByeByePlastic, which organizes global beach cleanups and plastic-free alternatives at live events. We have 1500 DJs using the eco-rider, and are fundraising from partners to integrate on programming and expand their impact. Harmony could be the Sustainability Partner for any of events / fairs / festivals in our database, in addition to PR and social promotion for powering the plastic-free transition. BBP just completed a full audit of Avalanche Barcelona, and we aim to half 4-6 chains involved for a pledge next month.
Every €25,000 prevents over one ton of single-use plastic at live events. Gen Z audiences are increasingly scrupulous of corporate footprints, and Harmony can shine as a hero of environmental action and incredible experiences. We want to create an authentic connection for our corporate partners between the artists and attendees, and can create custom content with you on-site in addition to designing educational + customer acquisition strategies for attendees. Would love to explore ideas like a Harmony POAP system for your reusable cup, traceability protocols for sustainability measures, special access to our events or beach clean-ups for the Harmony community, artist interviews, Harmony payments for ticketing, and token contests.
BBP is the leading organization for sustainability in electronic music, and we want Harmony to infiltrate these cultural grounds in a way that combats perception of blockchain’s environmental impact. A plastic-free event still feels noticeably progressive, and it’s an enormous statement for any organization to show their stakeholders that they are engaged in culture-forward programming while protecting the next generation.
