Spock is a decentralised sports stock trading app to be deployed on the Harmony platform.
Our idea was to build a platform where users can win rewards by predicting the performance of favourite players. Spock is a revolutionary fantasy game where one can buy and sell fantasy stocks of players. The better the player plays on the day, the price goes up, and vice versa. A users role is to predict the future performance of the players and build a portfolio accordingly.
Players can use the ONE/SPOCK tokens to trade players from different sports as stocks.
We have already developed the first prototype of the game and it is running on the Polygon testnet.
We are requesting $50K in equity-free contribution: $10K after launching a feature-complete product on testnet, $15K after mainnet launch, with certifications $5K after forming a DAO for our community, and $20K for marketing post launch(includes user onboarding).
We are a team of 4 developers and 1 designer and we are confident that our app, combined with Harmony’s fast and cost-effective ecosystem will be a huge success and very popular among the Harmony community.
Our milestones are:
Weeks 1-4: Feature complete and deployed onto testnet
Weeks 4-6: Give beta access to Harmony community to test and give feedback
Weeks: 6-8: Deploy to mainnet and ramp up marketing efforts

Couple of questions before we consider your proposal.
I see that you have a functioning product on Polygon testnet. Are you planning on launching this on Polygon first?
Our Launches track have clear guidelines on funding, which are as follows:
$10K after launching a feature-complete product on our testnet
$10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs
$10K after launching on our mainnet with audit
$10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion)
$10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process)
Will you be able to adjust your milestones and agree with above?
With respect to launching on polygon first, no we were building prototype and not fully functional product then and hence we thought its easier to deploy it on Polygon at first. But our plan is to launch the app on Harmony first.
Sure, we would agree to the milestones as per guidelines, however I would like to know if Harmony community can help with Audit process as well.

When you mention audit, do you mean testing the app on testnet etc? Because projects are mostly responsible for their own audits and execution however the community here is very supportive for tests and everything else when ready.
Harmony community doesn’t have the means to support projects audits, however if you agree the Launch milestones and deliver them on time, with the grant funds available to you upon milestone delivery, you can pursue the audits.

“Testnet Launch” means launching a feature-complete product on Harmony Testnet . We define feature complete to include a user interface, connection to a wallet (Metamask, Harmony ONE Chrome Extension, etc.) on Testnet, and can be tested end-to-end by at least 100 users.
Funds will be released upon completing these milestones
