Lovecrypto is an App available on Android and IOS (IOS version is under maintenance right now). We have around 3,000 users and growing 35% MoM. We also have some early revenue and have been growing in all KPIs. The primary objective of Lovecrypto App is to be a Cash In/Out solution for emerging blockchains and its stablecoins. We started with the Celo Blockchain and now we are ready to grow to other blockchains.

Team

Our team has business and technical skills to make this product to happen. Edmilson Rodrigues is the CEO and has a MsC in Computer Science. Chris Berenger is the Marketing Lead and has a MsC in Business Administration. Ailson da Cruz is the CTO and is a student in the Computer Science Department at UFPE. Lucas Zacarias is the UX/UI Lead and is a student in the Computer Science Department at UFPE. Juliandson Estanislau is a MsC candidate at UFPE and is our blockchain expert.

30,000 USD in ONE or Stablecoin

Justification

To finance the development for 3 months and to give us a liquidity pool in order to be able to provide a cash In/out ramp to Brazilian Real using the PIX instant payment system to ONE and its stablecoins.

Metrics for success

  • 1000 ONE wallets created in the first 6 months
  • $10,000 Total Volume exchanged in ONE or its stablecoins in the first 6 months

At this time, we have closed our first round of Harmony grants and decided to decline this proposal.

The bar to receive bootstrap grants is now higher than it has been historically. In order to receive a bootstrap grant going forward, grantees will need to evidence a high level of transparent reporting, robust community involvement, and a business plan that reflects a commitment to self-funding. Further guidelines are being finalized and should be released in the coming week.

I apologize that this process has been lengthy and drawn-out and I appreciate your patience. Harmony Grant Ops team wanted to exhaust every option before responding with a declination.
