Dystopia Labs has soft launched a social token called $WGMI. Similar to $FWB, it’s an access token for events. Main difference is, we’re starting B2B first before B2C. The value prop for projects who engage w/ us is that, instead of spending marketing budget, all they need to do is lock up $250k worth of our tokens for 2 yrs (~$10k/event) to get sponsorship access to all of our events (speaker slots, branding, access to devs, etc). Then at the end of the 2 years, they can opt to renew the lockup (and continue to get access to services) or they can sell their tokens.
Dystopia Labs is committing to organize a total of 24 global summits in 2022 & 2023. Of that, 8 will be IRL summits; 8 will be IRL hackathons; 8 will be virtual summits. We’ve put on a total of 13 summits since our inception in 2019. You can check them out here: https://dystopialabs.com/
we’ve been collaborating with the dystopia labs team and we have approved this proposal so that harmony can support developers and builders at 24 events over the next 2 years. that is approximately $10k per event. at the end of the 2 years, we get back all the tokens or continue to renew and stake for future services.
10+100 Events ($10M). Organizers of each event follow our templates to bring in new builders. Harmony has success with Gitcoin, DoraHacks, ETH Global and DevPost with $2M+ campaigns. We recommend hosting our own quarterly hackathons with $1M prizes each, sponsoring $100K workshops for industry-wide conferences, giving $50K keynotes in regional events, and empowering 100 local organizers – with $1K budget for a 20-attendee 2-speaker event, or $5K for 50 with 4 speakers, and $10K for 100 with a co-sponsor.
