MetaBot Club is an NFT project focused around personal growth and development with a strong emphasis on financial education and mentorship. The project uses NFT’s and blockchain as a way to connect members to education tools, groups, and professionals. The primary focus of the project beyond its utility is to onboard members of Web2 into the Web3 ecosystem. MetaBot Club requires the blockchain in order to provide members with the NFT’s utility, and the Harmony platform presents the opportunity to provide convenience and simplification to newcoming members by mitigating high gas fees while remaining a layer 1 solution. Furthermore, the utility of the project is based around areas of growth that are released in stages including financial literacy, gaming, mental health, and fitness. Each utility phase includes a corresponding NFT collection which would run on the Harmony platform. This would enable a smooth integration between Web2 and Web3 while allowing MetaBot Club to reach a more untapped market full of consumers worldwide. In addition, using the Harmony platform with MetaBot Club would expose thousands of new oncoming members towards the Harmony platform, and would have Harmony become the introductory platform for new users within the space. Currently, the project has released an initial V1 collection to establish the brand and create a strong holder base which has already sold out. The V2 collection of art is fully complete and our developer is already in the process of completing the mint site and smart contracts. What is next for MetaBot Club is the 2.5k collection to be tested on Harmony’s testnet and continuing to build the community. Currently, education tool kits for the financial education platform are already built into Discord with a growing community and access to information and investing guidance tools. Following the release of V2 includes the release of a token as well as the introduction to a structured DAO for the project. Tokens will be used as a reward for staking

and enables a structure in which users may use their tokens in order to access premium education tools at an affordable or completely free of cost. Furthermore, MetaBot Club plans to transition this education platform from Web2 onto Web3 through Harmony. An initial following for this project has already been established as well and is growing on platforms such as Discord, Twitter, and recently Tiktok.

We are requesting $50K in equity-free contribution: $10K after launching the NFT complete product on the testnet. $10K after publicly launching the V2 project on the mainnet. $10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion). $10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process). $10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs. As well as funding, we are looking for Harmony’s help with product development, fundraising, and talent recruitment. This includes the likes of marketing, mentors, tokenomics guidance, and developers for the Web3 education platform.

The team currently consists of myself as the artist, marketer, and founder as well as one developer. We are confident that with Harmony’s partnership, we are ready to expand the team as well as create an ecosystem of simple and effective resources for the community to access with MetaBot Club running on Harmony.

Our milestones include:

  1. Weeks 1-7 Feature complete 2.5k collection and deployed onto testnet
  2. Weeks 7-9 Give beta access to Harmony community to test and give feedback
  3. Focus on a large scale marketing campaign for three months to build out a largescale community including active and engaging members. This would feature anactive community, airdrops, giveaways, and whitelist spots.
  4. First month after launch: Connect 250 users to financial mentors
  5. Second month after launch: Begin forming the DAO

Sold out V2 collection and 5k members in the community. 20 financial mentors partnered within the first month after sell out. $550k transactions in the first three months followed by an increase in volume and the beginning of the V3 5k collection.

Hello Harmony! I, Ori Kleyman, am the founder of MetaBot Club and seek to partner with Harmony for the long term. The launch grant and partnership is something I especially am looking for after the many positive interactions I had with the Harmony team. It was in my conversations with Sam and Ganesh that we highlighted and discussed the lack of financial curriculum within the U.S. education system. Li and Jack both worked with me to integrate my project with Harmony and did an amazing job exposing me to the support and strength of a Harmony backed DAO. My constant interactions with Boris allowed me to familiarize myself with the Harmony mindset and values. Lastly, seeing Steven’s tenacity in life, whether that be on the basketball court or in his work for Harmony, confirmed my inclination to want to connect with a brand that represents a shared value system. Whether it was working on my project in the Harmony Hub, partying with the team at the Church and Temple nightclub, or playing basketball on the court with many of the core team members, I experienced a sense of community by the Harmony team. I was able to first hand be a part of a group that included professionalism as well as friendship and comradery. I would be proud to represent the company and platform and am ready to bleed Harmony blue.

As a member of the MetaBot Club, I can vouch for Ori’s incredible leadership and focus. He puts his community first and shows much compassion for the members. He would be a great advocate for Harmony if we were lucky enough to be chosen as Harmony partners.

Insane to see Ori’s dedication and motivation towards not only the project but also the movement towards creating an amazing community. I can’t help but to think how the next meta for investing in projects will be greatly influenced by how the team presents themselves. Ori’s on the track to blowing this standard out of the water.

Hi @Ori_Kleyman , thank you for your proposal! So happy to hear you had great experiences with the team at ETH Denver and that you’re aligned with Harmony.

After reading your proposal, a few questions came up-- hoping you can clarify them:

  • The V2 collection that you will launch will be minted on Harmony?

  • Can you elaborate on the perks and utility of the NFTs from the V1 and V2 collections, given that they would be on different chains? I currently have the understanding that your website will enable web3 connection to Ethereum and Harmony, and based on NFT holdings you’ll be able to unlock features. Is this correct, or do you have something more to add to that?

  • The financial tools and education material will be hosted in your site, or elsewhere?

  • The token that you will release as rewards, is it as rewards for staking the NFTs? If yes, how does this mean that V1 NFT stakers (Ethereum) receive that token as an ERC-20 and V2 NFT stakers receive that token as an HRC-20 token?

Furthermore, upon reviewing the milestones, here’s my suggestion based on the guidelines:

  1. $10K after launching the feature-complete web3 enabled website for testnet
    (note that the V2 NFT collection on testnet would be in addition to having the website fully operational and web3 compatible on Harmony testnet)

  2. $10K after launching on our mainnet with audit
    (not much to clarify here–this step would include everything from the previous one but on mainnet, and the audit)

  3. $10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs

  4. $10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion)

  5. $10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process)

  1. Yes, I am planning to launch V2 on Harmony.
  2. V2 utility provides access to education tools, guides, and private communities surrounding the plethora of financial topics such as stocks, crypto, real estate, etc. Furthermore, affordable access to financial mentors and professionals are included in the utility for V2. V1 was just a way to establish an original holder base and reward those members with a free mint to V2. While V1 is on the Ethereum network, its use or utility is just to connect members with V2 and everything else will run purely on Harmony’s network upon an agreed structure.
  3. The financial tools have been already built out through Discord and are being fully built into a website. Then, a mobile application would be the next step, until finally bridging to the Metaverse. This process allows for the onboarding of members from Web2 to Web3 without as many barriers as it will be a step by step process for people to use along their crypto journey.
  4. V1 will not be staked and just serve as a bridge to V2. V2 will then be staked and NFT owners will receive the HRC-20 token.

I like the suggestions you posted for the milestones as well and think it would be a good structure to base growth off of.

Metabot club is looking to do what many aren’t and that’s help the youth help the unknown gain light on NFTs investing and overall web 3. Like many projects who are unethical the Metabotz are not; Metabot club strives to be organic thoughtful and real. Many projects are going left while Metabotz are going right.

It looks like the revised milestones and metrics for success would be the following:

  1. $10K after launching the feature-complete web3 enabled website for testnet. Feature-complete includes:

    • Web3 enabled website on Harmony testnet

    • Complete V2 NFT collection

    • Completed educational & financial tools, guides, and private communities, and access of thereof via web3 enabled website. (This can be the first edition of such items, understanding that more can/will be added later)

    • Mobile application is ready and supports all previously mentioned features on testnet

  2. $10K after launching on our mainnet with audit.

    • Includes all items from the first milestone on testnet, to be available and deployed on mainnet.
    • 20 financial mentors partnered.

  3. $10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs (mainnet)

  4. $10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion)

  5. $10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process)

Thank you for the response and sorry for the late answer! Everything looks good, however the one change I would be looking to implement is that the website platform is something I want to build out in depth as a transition to mobile. I would be looking to just have the web3 platform site developed, as the app is an extension to later plans. The current goal is a fully functioning web3 education platform and site so I think it would make sense to remove the app in the first milestone section. Everything else looks great! Let me know your thoughts as I will be active in the community!

“Testnet Launch” means launching a feature-complete product on Harmony Testnet. We define feature complete to include a user interface, connection to a wallet (Metamask, Harmony ONE Chrome Extension, etc.) on Testnet, and can be tested end-to-end by at least 100 users.

I’m super happy to be able to move forward within the Harmony ecosystem! Just a few questions or edits I wanted to see made/ask about before continuing.

  1. I noticed the second milestone requirement listed the website and the app both be completed and tested, however the app is a separate phase of the project and is only scheduled to be developed until after the Web3 website and all the other milestones are completed. Having a complex and consistent site on the Harmony network running for a time is a part of the plan until eventually transitioning to mobile as a way to effectively and smoothly migrate Web3 and Web2 members together. I believe the app should not be a part of the milestones and the focus should be on the V2 collection, Mint, and Website Platform.

  2. Could I get more information on what requirements you’re looking for in the last section (5.) Specifically the part about the governance process. Additionally, is that governance process contingent on the project being a DAO?

Everything else looks great to me and I’d love to see what you guys have to say! Thanks again!

Hello Grants Team of Harmony! I wanted to propose a new milestone structure for the project as the Launch grant and funding will play a large role in the growth of MetaBot Club!

  1. $10K after launching the complete collection of V2 NFT’s onto the testnet.

Requirements:

  • Complete V2 NFT collection launched on testnet

Allocation of grant:

  • Hiring more developers to develop tools for the Web3 platform on Harmony
  • Token development and infrastructure on the Harmony network
  • Hiring and developing marketing campaign to transition members from ETH to Harmony
  • Hiring new artists for collaboration pieces with other projects in the space
  • Security and audit
  • Paid advertisements on social media: Twitter, TikTok, Google, etc.
  • Hosting IRL events in LA and Texas
  1. $10K after launching NFT collection with audit and outlined website structure on our mainnet.

Having support to build our platform, token structure, and marketing campaign for our members to integrate with Harmony is vital! This milestone list of grant distributions allow us to best bolster the community and mission forward towards a successful future full of Happiness and Harmony.

The Metabot Club has been executing quietly with quality. We are gaining traction organically and with realism. Being apart of Harmony is quite unique in the NFT space which will set us apart from other copy and paste structures of other projects. We consider ourselves a brand and company not a project. Ori & Myself met through a mutual project that I am apart of, during these general discussions we’ve established like-minded interests in the nft space which in turn he introduced to me about his project, spoke on his thought processes and the vision he is aiming to achieve.

Hearing his genuine excitement (passion) about the possibilities and future of what he is trying to build is what I (and anyone else) would love to see as a Owner/Lead developer, Aiming to make a mark and set a precedent in their field.

In confidence I do believe Ori, can do so.

I’ve been in conversation’s about the growth of this project since well before the V1s were completed. I haven’t taken any financial compensation or nor was I airdropped/given any V1’s from this project. Ori took his time in this space initially, and asked a ton of questions before he decided to start creating V1. Since it’s inception the project has evolved from a small NFT Genesis collection to a financial education vehicle that the NFT affords access to. This project has greater benefits outside of the collection’s price. Ori’s conversations and twitter spaces have been focused around the evolution of how he will work to empower the holders to become more financially competent in and out of web3. He genuinely connects with his and engages throughout each day.

Full disclosure, I am a Metabot holder and active member of the community. What attracted me to the project was like most successful projects, the art. I started investing in NFTs about a year ago and quickly realized that there is much more to NFTs than just jpgs. To be successful, you need many other tangible and intangible qualities that different investors look for depending on your goals. Those qualities can mean different things to different people, but one thing all successful projects have in common is a strong community. Ori has built this project around the community and it shows.
