Proposal overview

Project:

Metaverse War is a strategic GameFi in which players select countries from across the globe, with heroes and wage war on each other. A strategic world war game using NFT cards — a game you’ve never seen before. Tesseract is the core token of Metaverse War. Players aim to combat, enlist, collect, nurture, and strengthen their nation and heroes to gain Tesseract. Metaverse War has a player-owned economy that allows players to own, purchase, sell, and trade resources from skilled gameplay and ecosystem contributions using DEX.

Benefits:

The benefits for Harmony of having a crypto-finance game is the increase in users. This is an underserved market on blockchain platforms. By providing unique offerings we can increase the size and depth of the Harmony blockchain user base. Strategy games are some of the most popular both online and off. By creating a game based rewards system, with DEX encouraged, users will be compelled to use the platform daily.

Goals & Outcomes:

The goal is to keep users engaged and using the platform. We will achieve this by creating an engaging user experience. Users will be rewarded for the amount of time spent on Harmony using Metaverse War. The system we will use is a rewards based system that allows players to earn crypto and NFTs they can trade with other players. Not only will it encourage people to engage, but it also has the potential to bring new market-share to Harmony, because of its two-fold interest strategy combining gaming and finance.

Go-to Market Strategy:

Our go-to market strategy is to target users who already participate in strategy games. We intend to expose users to Metaverse War via targeted collaborations with brands that share our target audience. We plan to release NFTs that users will be able to activate within the game. We will be launching globally with the start of EP 1.3 Kingdom of Korea.

User Acquisition Strategy:

User acquisition will be achieved by targeting users who already enjoy strategy games. We will further refine our audience base by targeting users who also demonstrate an interest in finance, specifically crypto, and NFTs. Our research has demonstrated the demand for a blockchain based strategy game already exists, and we are aiming to be first to market on the Harmony blockchain with this model.

User Retention Strategy:

Data demonstrates that users will spend more time on games that reward achievement. This too, is inherent in the design of Metaverse War; players can compete to receive coveted awards, participate in daily quests, and your characters can be strengthened through game play.NFTs will be issued through the gameplay in the form of PFPs, characters, items, lands, and more. With expansion we intend to collaborate on NFTs to make them even more exclusive and increase value. Users are rewarded for spending more time in the game, and therefore more time on the platform.

About the Creators:

Our team already has experience building a community for Harmony - Harmony Korea DAO. The team is run by Coin Easy DAO, the largest crypto community in Korea. Our game is built by Dalgona DAO, an organization in the form of DAO. It is formed into a three-team alliance, with all members taking equal leadership share. Ewha Chain is in charge of development for Metaverse War. Ewha Chain is a blockchain society as Ewha Women’s University. Coin Easy is handling all marketing for Metaverse War. Experience in the quaternary industry of planning is in charge of various Dawnstreet. Altogether our team has 13 members, including engineers, NFT artists, and marketing, all building the Metaverse War gamefi.

It is live on Harmony chain and Testnet.

I like what I see, and have a few questions.

1- Korea is a key market Harmony wants to have a greater presence and awareness in. Will Korea be the key market for this game?

2- Was metaverse war live on any chain? If so, which one? And how is the Harmony version different from the other version? What’s the plan on supporting the Harmony version versus the other version and community?

1- Our first milestone is to target the Korean market and then spread globally. Metaverse War is Strategy game which is Korea’s most popular game style. It will bring a lot of attention from Korean users, since we also have huge community in Korea

  1. It’s on Test net on Harmony Chain. It will be easy to build big community, since we already have Harmony Korea DAO and CoinEasy( Number 1 Korea crypto Community and other KOLs — so we are not starting from scratch, we already have Harmony/CoinEasy Korean users who would be interested in using more Game Dapps in this space.

How many users are you anticipating?

Going forward, we are thinking of putting new games/gamefi on Shard 1, to ensure a smoother user experience. If approved, that is what we’d like your team to do. Not much further work is needed, just coordinate with our engineering team and following the docs. Cool?

“Testnet Launch” means launching a feature-complete product on Harmony Testnet. We define feature complete to include a user interface, connection to a wallet (Metamask, Harmony ONE Chrome Extension, etc.) on Testnet, and can be tested end-to-end by at least 100 users.
