Re-Vote on HIP-15

The Validator DAO decided to redo a vote on HIP-15 due to the following reasons:

  • The HIP-15 was on the Validator DAO Snapshot as written on the VDAO Charter. But so the quorum was not visible for the Validator community.
  • Several Validators said they checked the Harmony Mainnet Snapshot and didn’t see the HIP because it was placed on the Validator DAO snapshot.
  • HIP-15 was during the Validator DAO election and due to the transition the VDAO was not able to promote the vote adequately.

The quorum was close at 50.5% and several Validators confirmed their desire to vote on the proposal.

Based on this experience, the VDAO has decided that voting will in future not end on a Monday or in the middle of a day.

We heard the voices from the Validator community and decided to put the vote back to the Harmony Mainnet snapshot.
