Proposal overview
DAOs are the overarching vehicle of disruption, capable of producing and supporting NFTs, cryptocurrencies, and degens.
While crypto is supposedly borderless, the technology is siloed inside of Europe and America. India’s crypto market is prime for disruption as it has only started gaining some traction from the mainstream media.
The purpose of the DAO is to marry:
- India, the sleeping crypto giant, and
- DAOs, the revolutionary metaverse force that is sweeping across the internet at a rapid pace.
We want to create a DAO to funnel new users down the crypto rabbit hole using three pillars:
- Education - Teach people about Web3 and crypto.
- Creation - Facilitate creativity and education through a content platform.
- Ownership - Decentralized governance of said content.
The DAO aims to:
- Become the entry point for curious crypto market entrants in India, allowing users to learn, create, get paid, and own their content.
- Induce people to learn about crypto through a bounty program (sponsored by crypto projects)
- Create content via the DAO’s contributors.
- Give ownership rights back to learners/creators through a token drop in the future.
Currently, our Discord community has 75+ content creators. We aim to acquire 1000+ users in the next 3 months.
We need $10,000 in funding to continue sponsoring bounties, and for the marketing activities to spread awareness. Moreover, these funds will be used to help community members explore the crypto ecosystem.
We need help with partnerships with crypto projects who will be interested in sponsoring bounties for the community.
Current gaps in the team are mainly in the business development side of things.

Proposal ask
$10,000 + Partnerships with projects in the Harmony ecosystem (Sponsoring Bounties)
Justification
The funds received from the grant will be spent on the following:
- Sponsoring bounties every week - The more the amount is, the better it will be as we can reward the contributors + keep them motivated.
- Marketing for the DAO so that we can attract more writers and crypto companies that might want the DAO’s services.
- Influencer marketing to spread the word
- Rewarding community members

Rewards for participating in the community - $1k
Miscellaneous things that have not been added here but can be added if given more funds:
- Adding to the corporate treasury of the DAO - The funds will be used for building the DAO’s treasury which will later on be spent on helping the DAO token accrue value.
- Rewards + Bounties - Rewarding community members for their participation.
- Offering part-time/full-time positions - This is not a requirement at the moment, but ideally in 2-3 months we should be able to identify a few key contributors in the DAO that can be compensated fairly for their efforts and can spend more time on building the DAO.
*Grants - We would also like to set up a way through which the community can pitch their ideas and if the Grant committee likes the idea and wants to see it come to life, they can fund it.
Metrics for success
- After 3 months, we will have our team of writers who are willing to contribute to the DAO and help it grow.
- Onboarding at least 10 different crypto projects to the DAO who will be willing to fund the tasks.
- Create a continuous stream of writing related tasks for the community through strategic partnerships with ecosystems and projects.
- Onboarding 250+ members to the DAO
