Hey, Harmony ONE fam! James from StakeIt.ONE here 
. I hear that you need some help with the validator DAO so here’s my formal application for candidacy! Most of you know me, some may not, but I’ve been here in the Harmony family for a couple of years now.
I first started as a delegator staking my Harmony on other validators and was always very active in the community. I didn’t make a validator (StakeIt.ONE) until October of last year, but had considered it and wanted to do so since the beginning of 2021. I was hesitant at first due to FUD mainly defeating myself with doubt that I would be able to get people to delegate roughly 5,000,000 ONE to my validator. Then finally in Sept-Oct of 2021, I saw that the validator community needed more validators fairly urgently to meet a year-end goal of 200 elected validators. So I took a leap of faith and invested lots of time and money to get StakeIt.ONE going and I’m glad that I did.
I now feel as though Harmony is my family, we are all ONE, and I want to make a full-time career out of helping Harmony to succeed. I do not want to see this project fail and as long as I’m around I will do everything that I can to make sure it doesn’t. This is why I became a governor in the RPC DAO (Still in the early stages of formation), why I’m going to teach one of the Master Classes with another validator, and the reason I’m going to pursue further positions with Harmony such as Ambassador for the Baltimore, Washington D.C. area, and possibly if Harmony could use me on the team, I would apply for a position with the core team to help make sure that things with this project go in the right direction and I would help in any way that I can to see to it that Harmony Protocol

I’ve been a validator for some time now, and I can help the Validator DAO in many ways.
The 3 mandates of the validator DAO are :
- Decentralization : bootstrap thousands of elected validators, grow diverse validator profiles.
- Security : support high staking rate, promote security practices and tooling.
- Participation : facilitate protocol upgrade proposals, recruit votes for improvements
All of which I will advocate/stand by 
I’m thankful for this opportunity and hope that everyone would like me to be a governor in the VDAO for this term and possibly more in the future. I will definitely see to it that things go in the right direction and do everything in my power to see to it that Harmony succeeds
