Hi Harmony,
I am a big fan of what you guys are doing here, being a prime example of a decentralized organization working together around a mission. I came across the One to Earn initiative and thought that I could contribute my talents and skills, help the community and earn a living. Mainly, I am an artist and musician who writes songs for major-label artists and audio producer/editor but in conjunction with that I have learned my way around producing and editing video content to help market my music and/or create a complimentary visual experience. I’ve also been learning Blender more recently for 3d modeling and motion graphics.
My personal mission within Web3 is to onboard more women, BIPOC and members of the LGBTQ community to the space and I believe that there are many barriers to entry and not very many consolidated, easy to understand resources that walk people through how to enter the space or even what the space IS. For me, I am pretty good at “figuring things out” so I am okay – but for a lot of people it’s not as easy. I would love to use my knack for clear communication and media to try and make this an easier and more manageable process for people.
I would love to make simple, cohesive and clean onboarding videos for people who are outside of the space but curious to learn more Since I am not a Web3 expert by any means I would be happy to collaborate with the community on the information that goes into them. This is something that I have been interested in doing for a while but with being in school full time (Media Production BFA with a minor in communication) and having a job where I make about $12/hour as a media coordinator I literally cannot afford to. If I could make these for free I would/ will.
