It looks very nice

I like the concept because it has the chance to bring in a bunch of crypto newcomers to Harmony.
I’ve also always been a fan of tamagotchi-like games. This reminds me of when I used to tend to my gardens in the old Disney toontown game.
Good luck Limi!
Super excited for the game. Gonna be great for the Harmony ecosystem

Limi is based. He got me into Harmony.
This dev is cool AF.
thanks everyone for the positive feedback!
We appreciate it
We look forward to hearing back from Harmony, feedback or acknowledgement from them would really mean a lot for this project, not only monetarily!
I am Japanese, and this is a project that Japanese people like to work on.
In Harmony, 1/3 of the DefiKingodoms are Japanese users, so I think this is a chance to further activate the community with a project that Japanese people like.
Huge Potential!! Let’s go cryptopigs
love the art so far and hyped for the roll out of the battle mechanics with freyala plots!
I was talking to CryptoTro today and he sold me on CryptoPigs
I am excited to see where this project goes
These piggies are literally too cute! Very nice design and a Tamagotchi type of gameplay fits them perfectly! Really hope this will be funded!
Moonboi approves of the piggies
Where does the $50k number come from and how does the 80% of Crypto pig NFT sales factor in? With low-ball $ONE price of $0.09 (approximate low from mid-August): 500 x $0.09 = $45. 2,500 (rounded number of sold Crypto pigs to date) x $45 x .8 = $90,000.
The project and plans hype sound great, but IRL if I told my boss I need $50k “because reasons” it wouldn’t fly. My proposal would have to justify the costs to pass muster.
So assuming this passed, there is now north of $140,000 project funding. How is that spent? How long is that funding expected to last? How will the project be marketed and achieve self-sustaining income? What are the risks and challenges? The list of questions could go on
Good point you are raising here - the project already has a good amount of funding from NFT sales. However a similar case could for most of the projects here - most of them will, or have already generated some sort of funding through presales (e.g. harmoonies marketplace, tranquil (this one specificially is raising 10 million USD (!) in their presale, with 300k already raised, and they got approved for a grant), artemis…).
Economically this project, after the game is live, won’t generate much
more funding revenue per se for the team to use, but will be engangement driven, and giving directly to token holders. A native token (COINK), which is already live, will be used as incentive for players to participate - players will be able to wager their token in PvP games, with a percentage being burned/put into a pot for seasonal rewards for people to earn, as well as being available to be spent on certain perks and to revive a “dead” NFT that died of neglect - so this token captures the value of engagement in the game in addition to being delfationary be default, and the economy becomes self-sustainable, because players earn a share of this value, but using it is not strictly mandatory - this is because we want the game to be accessible to players to just enjoy without feeling the need to spend more money after buying the NFT.
Marketing for this is already happening organically - we actually have lined up integrations with 2 of the most popular projects on harmony right now - but with more budget, it would be much easier to boostrap incentives/diversify and improve marketing plans in avenues outside of the ONE community.
Thank you for the kind words, that is a cute NFT!
Thank you for applying for a grant. This is a great project and the artwork is fantastic. For the $50k Launches grant we break up the payouts like this:
$10K after launching a feature-complete product on our testnet
$10K after mainnet launch
$10K after forming a DAO with its community
$20K for after 10K users
The biggest success factors for funded projects are going to be longevity and growth. I can see you have mentioned some metrics related to social media growth but can you please flesh out the metrics for game activity, marketplace volume, and general participation? As you can see above, we are wanting to push for at least 10k active users so I’m curious how you would be able to measure that.
Thanks!
Thank you for the positive feedback, giv! Glad to hear that you like the art.
Here are some more metrics:
- Daily game activity + transaction volume: 1000 unique Users interacting with PvP mechanics and PvP mechanics daily, generating at least 2500 transactions in volume with CryptoPigs smart contracts (taking part in one battle and taking care of your pet will each account for multiple tx)
- breeding into further generations and borrowing NFT economies will allow for more people to participate when the demand exceeds the available NFTs
- eventually, 15000 active wallets participating in each CryptoPigs season
Marketplace volume
- buy and sell volume exceeding 20000$ per day
Thank you @limi - We still need to agree on the DAO creation milestone and number of active users for the final payment. Will you be able to measure 10k active users? I know you mentioned 15,000 wallets but it’s unclear if that represents active user engagement. If you can commit to DAO creation and min 10k active users, we can move forward. Thanks.
Thank you giv! Yes, we will be able to measure 10k active users by measuring the unique wallets engaging with the game. So yes, we can commit to that.
@limi I’d like to go ahead and approve this proposal. Congrats. Just a reminder that you must hit the following milestones to unlock the grant payouts:
$10K after launching a feature-complete product on our testnet
$10K after mainnet launch
$10K after forming a DAO with its community
$20K for after 10K users
