  • 32 GB ECC memory
  • 2 TB TLC NVMe

Each node has its own dedicated L2 switch and UPS backup with a run-time of > 70 minutes. The edge network has dual L2 switches and dual UPS backups with a run time > 60 minutes. There is an
on-premise 1Gb/s ONT with a fiber optic link and business class SLA.

About Us

The team consists of myself and my wife. My full profile can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidkilcy/ . I have almost 30 years experience with software development, system engineering, cloud, telecom, UAV and IoT. In my telecom career I worked in a devops position (this was before it was even called devops) building carrier-grade systems to support SS7 and LNP systems where one minute of downtime would cost thousands of dollars. I have experience delivering redundant and separately geolocated system and
distributed computing architectures. I have also delivered petabyte-scale distributed storage solutions which provided 100% availability and zero downtime in production environments for premiere media companies. My wife has 15+ years of telecom and NoC experience working for UUNet, MCI and Verizon.

My concerns of Ethereum scalability and high cost of DeFi led me to Harmony. After using the chain and impressed with it’s cross-chain capabilities and integration with metamask led me to start my own validator to support and learn more about the network. In addition to mainnet I run a single validator on testnet. I enjoy helping others and this helps me to expand my own knowledge.

I’ve been active recently helping others on the Discord and P-OPS Telegram (who are a great bunch of people). I am also working with a former colleague of mine who is getting is own validator live on mainnet, and we support each others activities.

I have some skunk-works projects on paper I want to implement like no-loss-lottery to give back rewards from my validator, and redistributing earnings to other validators to help others get elected and improve overall rate of returns.

Validator Pledge

Harmony’s Effective Proof-of-Stake Validators are the backbones of the Harmony infrastructure. I/We shall pledge to constantly run an up-to-date validator, promote a decentralized validator community, and use best practices of running a validator service.

I/We have read the Terms and Concepts in detail and fully understood its purpose, possess the know-how of running this service, and know the risk-rewards to run this service. I/We fully understand Harmony’s Definitive Guide to Harmony Open Staking
