- How would you like to contribute to Harmony?
In addition to the giveaways, SM promotion, community assistance, building the HarmonyHUB App, and running the Harmony Community Node, we would like to present a formal explanation for the program we have been running for the past few months.
Angel Content Creation Project:
Each Sunday/Monday we start a competition for the Angels. We coordinate with the various media assets that Harmony has (Robin, Peter, Ogre [Matt], others?) so that we are working on a common content theme that week. From the Angels side, we will currently reward entries in 3 categories, to encourage content creation. The 3 categories currently are;
- ONE Pager or Comic (Comic must have a clear message, and be at least 3 frames)
- Video/ GIF (It must be clear, readable, with a good message and short. No longer than 1 minute… preferably closer to 15-30 seconds)
- Articles (Not too much here yet. I want to encourage people to write articles, but with me editing them and having changes for two passes it is time consuming, and many don’t want to put forth the effort) – This will grow slowly over time.
As mentioned, we are in the process of reworking the reward system, though it is likely a month or more out from implementation. Changes are in the works to have votes and leaderboards instead of paying everyone out. *** As I’ve mentioned before Angels… it will get harder. *** I hope that you have been using this time to improve your skills! Along with it getting harder, the best will get better rewards!
Each reward is currently 1k ONE, as this is the minimum to join the community and delegate. Each individual can submit ONE entry into each of the three categories, but only one entry per person, per category is rewarded. This means that an Angel could potentially earn up to 3K ONE if they submit to each category!
Each week, we have a party to celebrate the Angels creations, and share them with the community so that they can be used in chats, tweets, insta posts, articles, wherever! The content created, which by design will complement that weeks news and releases, should encourage more social media sharing than a text based message alone. We encourage community involvement through distribution of Angel rewards to both thank the Angels, but also “WOW!” The community, hopefully finding new community members to grow the project. We also encourage community involvement through some airdrops and fun trivia, so that people can win a little extra for participating. The way that the tip bot is designed, it only rewards people who are actively participating in the chat, so the real people participating in the party are the ones getting the airdrops, not the bots and beggars.
Flow of each Party:
- Open with a small airdrop which spans at least the previous 2 hours. To @ a bunch of people and get their attention
- Explain the rules, flow of events, and share links to the featured articles that week
- Share that weeks video from Robin, if available
- Share the Angels Creations, and celebrate the Angels Program, hopefully attracting more people and growing the program
- Reward the Angels for their creations
- Conduct Trivia so that the community can participate and earn something
- Questions are pulled from the articles to encourage reading
- Airdrop some ONE, just for fun… a few times during the party to create excitement and encourage participation

I’m the Ogre, and I love the Harmony brand, the tech, and most of all… the community. I care because I believe that we have a bright future.
