Here are the updates for our social media target.

Our social media accounts are uptrend, if you notice facebook is the highest one. It is because the Philippines has a lot of Facebook users compared to other social media networks.
The Philippines is Top 5 globally with the highest number of Facebook users with around 91 million users. While Twitter had 10.50 million users in the Philippines in early 2022. We notice that our twitter account is uptrend and we got new followers every day.
We are expecting more followers to come once we started our events by end of the month.

That is a wonderful point and thank you for providing the statistics to back it up! 
I have no problem with shifting the metric from 1K Twitter followers to 1K Facebook followers. Maybe it should be put to a community vote, though? Thoughts?
Also, it does look like the Philippines DAO Twitter account is already up to 761! So congratulations for that growth.

Yes, thank you. we’ll stick with the 1k Twitter followers. No need to shift the metrics. We’re positive we can hit the target needed on time. I just shared how Facebook dominates the Philippine’s social media. That’s why we also use Facebook to promote harmony and DAO projects.

Second milestone seems to be easy to hit, with all these bots technology for twitter account. 10k USD for 1k twitter followers? I hope harmony core team can review the milestones, looks like this is a free money for me.

Why is my 1st reply flagged as a spam? It’s a serious concern especially that these DAO’s grants is a hot topic right now. Alright, I’ll just raise this to harmony reddit.
You cannot just invalidate the team’s effort in doing organic marketing. We are BUIDLing a strong regional community here.

You should do that in the right venue or create a thread of your own, not here. It’s like you’re saying we’re using bot. That is unnecessary, unethical, and clearly a FUD.

Im not invalidating it, I just think that 10k USD for 1k twitter followers is too much. Im just posting my concern. And twitter bots are rampant right now, okay I apologized for saying that part.

Your account is new, created on March 17th. I see your concerns posted across DAO channels, same question.
Our numbers have grown organically.
We have surpassed the goal of twitter 1K followers, on top of that Facebook Page - Harmony ONE Philippines 1,580 members and TG at 163 members.
PH Governors are working hard, translation delivered 100%. (back read the post if you have not seen).
Have a series of social events lined up that will further increase our “Social Media” metrics.
No bots here. All sweat & hard work! Dedicated Governors planning, marketing, assisting & answering community questions within our channels.

Thanks to our Governor’s Hardwork for this milestone. The hard work will not end at 1k Twitter followers, we use multiple social media networks to promote harmony protocol and we are still planning and promoting harmony in the Filipino community, more events will come both virtual and in-person, I’ve seen the dedication of my fellow governor to onboard more users based on our mandates. Again thanks to my fellow Harmony Philippines DAO governor.

It doesn’t matter if my profile was new. I started investing in harmony back in Decc 2019 but I just decided to join harmony talk when I felt the need to be more active here because of these DAO grants.
