Proposal overview

A wild species have appeared on the blockchain, They are looking for breeders, to populate their kind and occupy the blockchain, their homeland!

They call themselves wonders of crypto!

Wonders are furrious creatures, users can collect, sire, and breed them! Each Wonder has a unique DNA that defines its appearance and traits.

1. What stage of the product or idea are you (and your team) at?
Currently, the dApp is live on the Harmony Testnet with the following features: breed, marketplace,
sire.

2. Is it live on Harmony and/or another chain?
It is live only on the Harmony Testnet, we plan to launch on the Harmony Mainnet in Q2 2022.

3. How many active users do you currently have or aim to acquire?
We aim to acquire 10,000+ users at the end of Q3.

4. How much funding do you need?
We are applying for a $50,000 grant.

5. What are your milestones?
a) UI & UX Redesign & improvements & successful launch on the Harmony Mainnet.
b) Building a strong community.
c) Improving & Adding features, we are working on WondersVerse, where users can play games with their Wonders!

6. What help do you need, or what gaps are there in your team?

We need help with the grant to kick-start the project, perform audits, and expand the team after the launch.

Proposal ask

We are asking for a total of $50,000 worth of ONE divided by milestones.

For the safety of Wonders, we need to perform audits, advertise wonders to gain early traction, and expand the team for further developments.

Metrics for success

Launching on the Harmony Mainnet.
10,000+ users.
Forming a DAO.
WondersVerse Launch.

I’m curious what other purpose do these creatures serve aside from being collected and bred? Is there going to be a P2E aspect to this where creatures will go on adventure or something? Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the reply!

There will be P2E aspects when we launch the WondersVerse - platform where users can play games with their Wonders!

On the first game addition, we are working on gameplay where users can participate with their Wonders in various adventures, compete in leaderboards, enchant their wonders & more!

If there is an idea, it can be easily built on top of the CryptoWonders SDK.

Thank you for submitting a proposal to Harmony’s $300M Ecosystem Fund. Allow me to be your representative on behalf of the Grants committee. We are in the process of reviewing your proposal, however the team is heavily focused on delivering a great event at ETHDenver and the review process will take just a little longer than usual, until after the event.

Hey, our team consists of 3 people, two full-stack dev including me with over 8+ years experience in Web Development and over 2 years in blockchain development, and the artist behind the Wonders!

We are enthusiasts looking forward to build on the Harmony and offer a remarkable experience for the cryptocurrency community!

1. What milestones is the team looking to hit over the next 8 to 12 weeks

After the launch, from 8 to 12 weeks timeframe, we aim to have a strong base community and a beta version of our first game.

2. How are you planning on building a community?

The main source will be social media activity, getting influencers, bloggers, and content creators.
If the project is good, it will naturally build a community. In addition, we are going to integrate Twitter share button, so users can easily share their Wonders, which will create more hype.

2. Are there tokenomics?

Not yet, but we plan to issue an ERC20 token when we launch the first game.

4. What are the game mechanics & How can players earn?

On our first game addition, we want to make the game as fun as possible, and full of competition!

I will share some details:

  1. Users will be able to craft/buy items to get stronger, improve their stats.

  2. Farming - Users will get more allocation in pool farming if their Wonder has more power.

  3. WoW (Wonder vs Wonder) - users can challenge another wonder and kill them.
    See someone farming with too much allocation? You can try to challenge and kill that Wonder! But that won’t be easy! For an innocent Wonder killing, you will get a bounty on your head! And there will be consequences!

Hey, we plan to launch the game in Q3 2022, by then we aim to have 10,000+ users.

The core functionality is already developed and live on the testnet.

People are already breeding and collecting on the testnet :star_struck: you should try it too!

$10K after launching a feature-complete product on our testnet
$10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs
$10K after launching on our mainnet with audit
$10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion)
$10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process)

I don’t understand…

We have working initial product ready on the harmony testnet, and you are giving away grants to projects with no demo apps, or demo apps with no web3 integration and etc…

Not a hater, but just frustated with the decision.
