Web3 Devs Poland: meetup in Warsaw

Proposal overview

This proposal focuses on promoting web3 among developers. Thanks to this grant we will be able to organize live event in Warsaw promoting web3 where Harmony would be an official sponsor, its logo will be visible on our website in partners section (https://web3pl.eth.limo/) and in all marketing materials for the events. We could also have a short panel about Harmony and its solution during the event.

Web3 Devs Poland meetup will be an event with the purpose of networking and sharing insightful knowledge about web3 solutions. For the event, there will be invited three speakers (one is already confirmed - CEO of HashUp). After speeches, meetup is intended to provide a time to establish connections among founders, experts and developers redefining the future of innovation and technology in Poland. This event will help to boost ongoing projects, exchange ideas and connect for collaborations. It will also help with bringing more developers into web3 world by showing them existing possibilities.

We’re the first polish community for web3 developers. We share knowledge, exchange experiences and build projects together. Our community has more than 300 members now.

Proposal ask

Budget: 2.500$

  • Venue for approx 40 people
  • Promotional materials
  • Paid marketing
  • Catering during the networking session
  • Merchandise
  • Access to tools (StreamYard, Meetup etc.)

Metrics for success

  • Number of attendees
  • The number of accounts reached on LinkedIn and Twitter
  • The number of e-mails collected

Depending on the interest, we would like to proceed with more events and more initiatives like web3 newsletter, education around it certified with NFTs, hackathons. We are a very active community working only 4-weeks now. We are also open for a discussion with Harmony Team to develop some new ideas together.
