Introduction

Crypto Effect concentrates on mass adoption throughout Latin America. Since the beginning of 2022, we have had 3 events aiming to have a meetup each month. Mexico is the biggest Spanish-speaking country in the world with huge potential for crypto adoption. But adoption has been a fraction of what it has been in other countries like Argentina, Colombia, and Chile.

Our numbers from past meetups:

  1. How to do business with Crypto and NFTS? (60 attendees)
  2. How to sell a complete NFT collection? (66 attendees)
  3. How to do a mining farm? (50 attendees)

Proposal Overview

We are looking to make larger more consistent meetups with a bigger reach. The third week of each month doing a different event to onboard and strengthen the crypto community in Mexico City. We plan to have 3-4 hour events with an hour and a half for speakers and three hours for networking and questions. With the basic introduction to a web 3 blockchain topic and the harmony ecosystem.

Proposal Ask

We ask for $1,000 to sponsor each Individual meetup starting may 19th

Space rent: $400

Sound, projector, and live stream: $200

Drinks and food: $150

Staff $250

Success metrics

  1. 50 attendees per meetup
  2. 3-4 hour event in which everyone will leave knowing what Harmony is
  3. In-person and live stream of each event posted on Youtube and facebook
