Proposal overview

There is currently a very large gap between people who have been in the crypto world for years and ordinary users.

The objective is to bring the population furthest from the knowledge of Crypto closer to acquiring it in a simple way and by levels (basic, medium, advanced), through an educational portal.

The student/user, when completing the tests for each of the levels, will receive tokens as a reward for their study and completion.

This educational portal will also be a portal where students can interact with each other.

The entire ecosystem that is being supported by the Harmony network (ViperSwap, DefiKingdoms, Sushi, OpenSwap, daVinci, …), will be able in each of its chapters (for example daVinci in the chapter explaining the NFTs and their application in the world of Defi), help when it comes to rewarding each of the students for completing the topics.

That is, the educational portal will have a pure Learn to Earn.

In addition, not only will the concept of the Crypto world be taught, but first, basic finance content will be developed, because we know that there are many people who enter this world without having financial concepts which, together with the complexity of something completely unknown, produces a rejection.

CryptoSimple.info will be developed in English and Spanish, and later in other languages ​​such as German and French.

Through the advancement of each topic, evangelization of the Blockchain will be produced, inclusion in an unknown system and it will be possible to demystify it by doing it in an easy way, empowering each and every one of the students.

The goal is to make it fun and easy, with written content, podcasts, and videos, with comprehensive and fun illustrations, that make studying Crypto personable and wanting to return.

Currently, the project is already in the development phase, with the platform selected and beginning to introduce content. Almost in parallel.

Only in Spanish, there is a target of 363 MM people.

The Goal is to have Level 1 ready for Q1 2022

Proposal ask

$50K:

  • $20K After launching the platform working with 10 test users. 3 Chapters in level 1 test.
  • $10K After final design of the platform in test.
  • $10K After launching live
  • $10K After 1K active users

Justification

The amount asked is for the team so it can survive before the monetization arrives. Some of them are 100% of their time, some 50%,…

Metrics for success

3 months:

1st: Platform built with test content. Academy + Blog

2nd: Level 1 halfway of the content developed.

3rd: Users could start to be added to Level 1. Content loaded and ready to be studied

Well, we all know the difficulties for Spanish speakers to find updated content about cryptos, so this will cover the language gap and will be a friendly approach for crypto and Harmony adoption.

Great proposal, especially when I see the lack of financial knowledge in general a big part of the Spanish speaking population has (I am part of that community so please, do not feel offended). Combining financial education and introduction to crypto concepts, projects and markets in a simple manner is a win. The learn to earn will attract a lot of people IMO.

This is definitely interesing; congratulations on the idea. I’d love to know more about the initiative and, if you don’t mind, I have a few questions:

  • What is the background of the team? What is their past experience building similar experiences?

  • Have you done a market study on the crypto material available? What is the specific gap?

  • Have you had discussions with the partners already? What are their thoughts giving out tokens? Could these agreements be included in the milestones potentially?

  • Is it possible to consider also local languages? These are treasures of humanity and we should work to preserve them :slight_smile:

In any case, I can’t wait to know more and this can be an incredible success (I really like the idea of token rewards)! There is definitely room for such initiatives. Have a lovely weekend.

I’ll try to do my best. Any questions back, really welcome.

  • Team has a background of Tech, Marketing, Financial, Design, Blogging, more than 25 years some of them, although new governors are welcome as said up above to be part of the project. This will be an open project open to the community. Yes, we have experience building LMS’s in the close past.
  • The study has been done and there is nothing compare to what we want to achieve. First, in Spanish, there is less content than English and answering the last point as it’s related, we’d love to build it in as many languages as possible, of course, step by step.
  • Yes, but working in more conversations. Their thoughts are really good as this is part of the evangelization of tokens. Of course, there is a limit and hard work in a system that has control over fraud (one person login several times). I think including these agreements in the milestone it’s a great idea, I’ll talk to my team about it.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I have read your answers with great interest. I would -personally- welcome more specific details regarding the questions posed, if you had the time:

1.- What specific experience do you have building LMS? Is there anything we can see?
2.- Can we read the study?
3.- Can we have specifics on what the token partners are saying?
4.- By other languages, I meant minority languages that are at risk of dissapearing (Guarani for example).

Hi again!

  1. Quite a lot of years doing such platforms CMS, LMS, etc… One last project that you can take a look at’s Educa-Med - Educa-med based on Learn Dash LMS and adapted to the client for months. Which is not the one that is going to be used.
  2. Sorry but this study isn’t written as it’s has been developed with tools that we use internally. We are used to doing many of them during the year and based on short keywords, longtail keywords, traffic, Google Trends, etc… And nothing like the project we are already developing.
  3. These conversations have been done in the backstage and are part of the confidentiality of the project.
  4. The goal of the project is to reach as many people as we can with the Crypto concept. Protecting a language is out of the scope. Guarani people for example are people that most of them talks in Spanish, which is the main language that we want to reach. In the presentation PDF above attached it shows the number of Spanish talkers.

The knowledge gap is a major challenge that limits adoption and use case. Blockchain tech can solve a lot of real world problems particularly in developing countries but because of low supply of localized educational channels, theres a massive gap that creates room for misconception and reluctance to get onboard with the superior system it provides. Creating these focus driven platforms tailored to specific communities can help bridge this knowledge gap more efficiently
