Setting up validator ... stuck at checking node section

The instructions are pretty good.
I followed the most.

I am not able to follow what you guys are trying to say in Checking the node.
You said to compare the block height.

but I don’t see any field in JSON that it’s coming back.

I am comparing the output of these two commands;
./hmy blockchain latest-headers
./hmy --node="https://api.s0.t.hmny.io" blockchain latest-headers

Any help?

the output you copy pasted contains json fields, you might want to join the validator community telegram group chat so someone can help you live Telegram: Contact @PangaeaVolunteers

The field you are interested in is “viewID” at the bottom of the JSON structure
When “viewID” from ./hmy blockchain latest-headers (your node) equals the result from
./hmy --node="https://api.s0.t.hmny.io" blockchain latest-headers (chain) then you are caught up.

Notice that the viewID is increasing rapidly from the output of the first command compared to the second.
