[staking dashboard] Feedback

  1. Restake automation for delegators, “validators it would have scripts for such feature” so this must be only for delegators.
  2. DO NOT ALLOW new users to create duplicates of existing validators, throw a message like when you’re trying to create an user and that user already exist.
  3. I’ve seen for now many “porn”, excuse my expression, name validators created, I don’t think we will see this on the mainnet but it might be considered also.
  4. The staking explorer has a little lag somehow and should be refreshed automatically, not manually by me everytime.
  5. I’ve liked and was helpful the epoch timer on portfolio and I would like it to see it back :timer_clock:.
  6. A new delegator can be warned about validator with alerts notification, for commission changed, uptime decrease, stake changed, etc… Maybe we can mark with some flags also this changes .
  7. Atm I think is very well how the validators are ranked.
  8. Create new wallet should be added on main page also not only on harmony extension icon. Atm on main page, when I chose “create a new address” it sends me on a empty page, and I can’t create a new address, only If I go to extension icon. This it’s a little confusing .
  9. Analytics, Total Stake middle page up, would be nice to see there also 1.554.874.333/26% from total supply .
  10. I would like to see harmony. one explorer and check the tx from staking explorer portfolio, or on left side, button under network .
  11. Under explorer could be also added definitions link, button, etc… would be very gooood for new users to see this information here and not dig through tons of docs .
  12. To be continued :grin::thinking:

Another suggestion, would also be okay if we have an welcoming message for every new delegators? Which contains Harmony qoutes message and also a simple guide on how to delegate for every new beginners and add also the tips on how to maximize their profit.

  1. can we delegate from phone? look like it will be great. as simple like that
  2. i have faced a glitch when im undelegate my delegate. the balance reflected to my portofolio and the amount i have delegate is still there on the validator user more than 1 hours or so

Google extensions are not allowed in Chrome, but you can use a browser called Yandex, it will let you use the chrome extensions in your phone. I know it is a hassle, but harmony will find the way to work this around, under my point of view mobile friendliness is key for mass adoption.

I’m missing a filter to make a selection of validators by Avg uptime, available delegation amount, comission, etc. It is hard to find the right choice. We already have the list of validators in the analytics tab. I think that in the validator’s tab we should show the list with a filter, changing the column of total stake for available stake.

In the UI is it possible to view the balance per shard? As a delegator may I choose whose shard’s node I delegate?

I don’t know if it is addressed already, but the circle graph (portfolio allocation) is showing “undefined” in the name of the nodes as well.

  1. I would like to see added the epoch number …see the pic.Thank you !

this is great news!

  1. How about a suggestion here @Maggie_Wang_Harmony, would be possible to see here on each validator row, delegation since 20.04/20.34pm date and hour when I delegated the tokens

Just jumped in here … but right off the bat these things have stood out:

  1. Need to see max possible rate and not just max change rate when viewing a validator’s page.
  2. Need to be able to see entire list of delegations inside our portfolio pages … this was a problem when I previously delegated a lot … so not sure about now as I’ve only delegated to a couple.
  3. Need to be warned when a validator goes off line.
  4. Need to be warned when validator changes fee.
  5. Need to be able to see validator current fees, max fees and change rate inside our portfolio pages.

Most of these have been mentioned … lots of good ideas in here … will give more feedback as I dig in further :metal::sunglasses:

Simple thing but I’d like to see at a glance the maximum and min stake of elected validators for the current epoch. I know I can get that in the analytics page, but in the list of validators you can’t tell who is actually elected so while I find the analytics page a quicker way to get a broad overview of whats going on with all the validators its missing the key bit of info of who is elected. I think it could be something as simple as a small badge on the validators row showing its elected in the current epoch. Even better would be a way to preview the next epoch, or failing that to see the current status of any given node in terms of the next epoch as it stands at the given time. I know votes move between epochs but I think you could be able to get a status that basically lets a user know that if the votes remain as they are, this validator will not be elected in the next epoch.

I also don’t trust the expected return number as I’m not really sure what goes into it. Some nodes seem to be almost exactly equal yet the one with more votes is actually showing a better return. I was guessing that maybe better uptime means slightly more blocks signed and that offsets a higher vote count. However then there are nodes like these two which I swear are basically identical but one posts a 90% return and one a 45% return.

any more specific suggestions?

hey JC all staking transactions happen on shard 0, or do you mean we should show the shard number of the validator?

Being able to track, at a glance, any changes that the validator has made to their fees. Would be nice to know if they were making a sneaky changes. Unless, of course, we can already do this and I just haven’t noticed :yum:

Greetings. The procedure is excellent and I have no observations so far. I would like to mention my impressions

I think the name of the delegate should be able See, it shouldn’t be a problem

I wanted to comment that it would be beneficial if a testnet address could be differentiated from a mainnet, to avoid confusion among the inexperienced

Finally, I am not convinced that it is good that the origin website of our node appears in the information, why should the rest know it? I would like to hear your experienced opinion

Yes, total rewards earned should be shown separate. Because after claim rewards and delegate them I am unable to find what total number of rewards I earned …

The dashboard is looking good I will edit this post as I will be adding content.

  1. Choosing the amount for delegation and undelegation. It would be way easier if it had a percentage slider. Benefit also helps to avoid a mistake with zeros. Made a little design

  1. Do not automatically close Succesful delegation or undelegation window. This window just disappears in a few seconds? Why? Or give it a 10 seconds countdown.

  1. Would be very helpful to have the fee autodeducted from the amount.Screenshot_1

Hello,

in your 2 validator screenshot, there are some differences if you have noticed :
lifetime reward : 17750 vs 26849
Validator since : 10828 vs 6402

the APR is becoming more accurate as the validator become older.

Also, take note that the uptime value only counts the block that was missed while the validator is supposed to be elected. When not elected, the uptime won’t change, like how it is for the RockStar MF validator who is not elected for a while now
