About Unmarshal:

Unmarshal is a Multi-chain indexer network routed through our network gateway to support querying in multiple data avenues that includes Restful APIs, GraphQL, Notifications, Websockets and Webhooks.

Unmarshal aims to reduce the load of a DApp developer by providing a solution that can be integrated in to the app’s systems very quickly.

Along with transactions data Unmarshal also can also retrieve all the NFT information for a wallet including the previous owners , creator and other attributes for a NFT.

Unmarshal aims to become completely decentralised there by avoiding a single point of failure as data can be fetched from a network of data providers on our network. To display the power of decentralised Network we are soon launching out decentralised NFT indexers.

Unmarshal currently supports data End points for Ethereum Chain , Binance Smart Chain , Polygon (Matic) chain, Solana Chain, XDC (XinFin), Ziliqa chain

Another exciting B2C product of Unmarshal https://xscan.io is a multi chain explorer where assets, balances and transactions for a wallet from ethereum chain , Binance Smart chain, Solana, Polygon (Matic), and XinFIn can all be retrieved from one location.

  1. To index the entire Harmony One chain and enable data Endpoints like asset balances , transactions , transaction details to name a few
  2. Enable Notification Framework on the Harmony Chain
  3. Integrate harmony Chain with our multichain Explorer - https://xscan.io

Proposal ask

Unmarshal requests for a grant of $100,000 for the entire proposal which will be completed in phases. The cost for each phase is mentioned below

Milestone 1 — Indexing The Node

  • Approximate Estimated Cost - $25,000

Milestone 2 — Decoding Data

  • Approximate Estimated Cost - $10,000

Milestone 3 — API services

  • Approximate Estimated Cost - $15,000

Milestone 4 — Explorer Integration

  • Approximate Estimated Cost - $25,000

Milestone 5 — Notification Services

  • Approximate Estimated Cost - $25,000

Metrics for success

  • Harmony one Chain Completely Indexed and data in Live Sync
  • Harmony One Chain integrated with our multi chain explorer Xscan
  • Notification Framework enabled for Harmony
  • Making all data end points available for immediate consumption

  2. Can you describe the current utility of Unmarshal @Unmarshal? If you can share some website analytics data, that would help
  3. With the current integration of Covalent (for indexing) and Chainstack & Pocket Networks (for RPC availability), how does that reduce the scope and cost?

Thank you for submitting this proposal and being patient. This proposal is very similar to an existing project Covalent and The Graph and it will be difficult for us to justify approving this grant.
