The quickest update that will be happening will be the PvP. Part of the reason(besides time), for the raw “miss” mechanics is that playing against a human for a reward gives a very different feel of the game. Due to that we decided that it makes sense to make the battle system more complex once we`ll get the PvP going.
Everyone in the team is a gamer(The team combined probably has over 10k hours of gaming), and we want to add things 1 at a time, based on the experience of playing.
no, thank you for transparency… i get that absolutely agreed, wasnt fudding or attacking - im just honest cause i like the idea. will there be future in depth into maths of mechanics for theorycrafters? AMAs? interconnecting other nft projects, like importing for fights?
We generally take an agile approach to gamedev, cause well something can be interesting in theory, but boring as a gameplay.
So here are some ideas that we are currently playing with(besides weapons, armor etc):
We wanted to add skills, BUT the more we though about it the more we released that skills should be based on the battle mechanics.
So we thought of some basic spells and abilities to test on the PvP in near Future:
hit 2 points at once, while not blocking
split damage between all parts
heal part of the body
heal all parts of body for X points
Splitting types of damage(eg. fire, sword, electricity etc.)
buffs, debuffs .
Also we want players to come daily to the Arena, where are Monsters of the Purgatory (whom will be much tuffer to kill and they have a 23 hour recovery period until the next monster is there). But in order to make that more engaging we need to make some rewards that can be spent on something. In-game currency is good, but there needs to be something else too.

Also we made our PvP in a way that it can be added to different scenes without rewriting code. This allows us to play with an idea of adding movement to the game in future in a similar fashion as the combat system in Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel or Heroes of Might and Magic and keeping the old game as a mini-game in future (ex. Gwent in Witcher 3).
Nope. There will be leveling system and skills and complex spells etc. But they will be added one at a time to make sure it makes sense in gameplay. We will also keep the RNG element in the game, because predictability in games opens doors to bots and also some percent of unpredictability in the game makes it more interesting to play.
Also we are not interested in the moment in making battles with other projects at the moment. Could be in future. But as of know, we are limited by time with all the things that we are working on.
