Hi Harmonauts, pleased to meet you all! 
I’m Sophia from beautiful Vancouver Canada 
and I would like to officially announce my candidacy to run as lead governor in the Incubator DAO.
When my family immigrated to Canada in the early 90s, I witnessed my parents’ entrepreneurial journey and I grew up with tremendous respect for entrepreneurs - I know it’s not easy. I want to give back and help people with dreams to succeed.
Currently I fund startups and help founders as a Principal with Alumni Ventures Group’s Blockchain Fund. We support a cohort of promising blockchain startups within our portfolio including early and late stage ventures such as GigLabs and BlockFi. I wake up 
everyday excited to find ways to add value and to learn. Outside my full time job, I’m an active volunteer Judge/Mentor in the startup community with different protocols’ hackathons and accelerators to be inspired and to give back.
I fell into the crypto rabbit hole in 2017 when I was helping a VC looking for investment opportunities in the tech space as part of a coursework at Yale School of Management. Post graduation I started my crypto career with Galaxy Digital, supporting blockchain projects on fundraising, investor relations, and ICO initiatives. During my tenure with Huobi US and Crypto.com, I worked with institutional players such as crypto hedge funds, high-frequency traders in market making, and volume trading initiatives, covering the Americas, EU, and Latam region.
I look forward to bringing experiences investing into startups, supporting founders, and my network of investors and talents to the Incubator Dao, and I look forward to continuing support entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams
