The new UI is absolutely stunning! Amazing work as always
Not only is it fun to play the game, but what makes CR so special to me is how the ecosystem is built with the community. I love reading and debating suggestions because, as a player, I feel heard. The team is very close to the community, which makes it possible to come up with great ideas and build great features together. Skin Wars is a perfect example.
Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Indeed, we have launched our New UI, and we’re already seeing improved retention for new players!
We’ve also just launched API Royale. API Royale is the start of the toolkit that will allow Crypto Royale to scale from a single game to a series of games under one umbrella, using a common infrastructure.
- For devs : Reduces development time to integrate with ROY.
- For players : Provides better UX and fraud protection, through a permission and chargeback system.

Finally, for those who may be worried about the impact the recent hack may have had on Crypto Royale; we were lucky enough to move our treasury to Ethereum at 1:1 as soon as the hack was announced, so there has been no immediate financial impact. Looking forward to seeing what plan Harmony puts together to stabilize the ecosystem.

After completing in every mode (ranked, weekday tournament, sunday tournament) I can tell the new UI is really smooth and in harmony with the overall game experience.
I really like the notifications before the tournaments, its easy to join if Im already in ranked and forget to watch the time 
The only small thing I would change is to add a skin wars page link on the equiped skin logo on the bottom right.
Overall both the UI and the new API is really well done and shows that the project focusing on both building and player experience.

Hi all. Today’s update is Crypto Royale’s response to the Harmony Hack. We are copy-pasting our announcement from our discord, which can join here: Crypto Royale
As most of you know, approximately 40 days ago, Harmony was the victim of a hack. This event led to the chain becoming unfit for DeFi, and Harmony management’s subsequent reaction (or lack thereof) has led to a loss of confidence in the chain’s future; both within our own community, and in the broader ecosystem. Harmony has been a good home for us, and we wish them the best moving forward, but it’s time for Crypto Royale and ROY to expand to somewhere it has a better chance of flourishing.
We spent the last month reaching out to, and discussing with, the Biz Dev & Gaming teams at various blockchains. Our goal was to pick a new home which fulfilled the following criteria:
- Solid technology (Reliable, Scalable)
- On the rise, in terms of investment and user-base influx.
- Good Management track record.
- Fast transactions and low Gas fees.
- Willing to invest heavily in Crypto Royale, either financially or through marketing.
What we discovered was that there are several strong contenders, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Whilst undergoing final deliberations, we remembered Crypto Royale’s mission; Lowering the barrier-to-entry to Crypto, for as many people as possible, through the medium of Gaming . Going multi-chain was always on our radar, and we feel there is no better time than now to do it. Our games are almost entirely off-chain, aside for the ROY token, which make them very easy to port over. We need to reach as many users as possible, so we can then in turn attract a network of projects that want to advertise or distribute tokens through us (taking our COTW proof-of-concept to the next level).
To make a long story short, over the next few weeks we will building the infrastructure to easily add ROY to new chains . For the most part, nothing will change within the game. You will just have the option to withdraw and deposit to/from more than one blockchain. Games built using API Royale will automatically become multichain (currently Bullet Royale), re-enforcing the value of building games on our ecosystem, vs dealing with blockchains indvidiually.
On September 15th ROY will become available on Polygon (strength: low transaction fees), followed a week later on AVAX (strength: becoming a popular GameFi hub). Harmony will remain as an option for those who do not wish to move their ROY over, but we will reduce liquidity substantially to protect ourselves from further fallout from the hack. For those unfamiliar with these chains, more details to follow, but they were the two strongest performers in our research described above. Once these two are live, we will pause multi-chain expansion to focus on raising awareness, with the help of their marketing departments, with whom we are already in touch with.

Small update: We’ve just released a new game mode called Mega-Map
Mega-Map takes Crypto Royale from a small fixed arena playing field with up to 10 players, to a sprawling map of arbitrary size with up to 70 players! We feel this will appeal to less casual gamers who expect their Battle Royale sessions to last several minutes. Winning games will be much harder, but also much more rewarding.
Mega-Map is currently running a limited release schedule. 4 times a day for 30 minutes each, right after our 4 daily tournaments. Check out the video above to see what it feels like.

Crypto Royale’s token (ROY) can now be distributed on any one of 5 chains (Harmony, Polygon, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum). Not all of these chains will be made available. Polygon and Avalanche have been confirmed, with Polygon liquidity pool launching on September 15th. Max Supply will stay at 400M and re-balanced across chains as necessary.
To play, you just go to https://bulletroyale.one/ and connect your discord account (you won’t be able to play until the beta actually launches). Games will be pay-to-play, with each run costing about 1 ROY at first. Once you’ve purchased your entry, jump into the game and start dodging bullets. You can shoot back to destroy enemies, and colors matter so don’t forget to pick up those pips to change yourself and your shots to an advantageous color. They won’t give you any health, though, so avoiding the bullets is the name of the game.
The new place to buy ROY on Harmony is Sushi Swap. Currently we are maintaining Liquidity equally on Viper and Sushi, whilst our community gets acquainted to the new location. Over the coming days Viper liquidity will be reduced to 0, seeing as they have announced they are shutting down their DEX on October 5th.

You can now track a detailed breakdown of our tokenomics in real-time on the Crypto Royale website. For example, you can see in the screenshot above that approximately 8M ROY has moved from Harmony to Polygon.
Launch of new Galactic Skin Wars
The Galactic update to the Skin Wars system has changed how skin clans can earn ROY through Skin Wars, though the winnings are still distributed to each skin like before. While previously, it was a straightforward race to have the most VP in 24 hours, now VP must be used strategically to capture zones, each one worth a certain amount of ROY.
VP will only be used to claim a planet if the individual skins that earned the VP are attacking that planet. Skin Owners have a choice of whether to contribute their VP to the same zone as the rest of the clan, to try and capture larger zones, or to attack on their own at smaller targets of opportunity. The total earnings a clan receives at the end of Galactic Skin Wars is based on how well they have placed on every zone, with the top three positions in a zone earning the most.
Skin Owners can vote for where they want the clan to attack as a whole, and votes can be changed at any point to shift the focus of the attack. Votes will be cleared at the end of Skin Wars, to prevent a clan from being locked into one zone.
Data on who is attacking, how much VP each clan has in a zone, how many votes there are for attacking a zone, potential earnings, even lore about the zones and potential future perks per zone, can all be found by clicking on the zones. You can see all the zones a skin clan is involved in by clicking on that skin in the leaderboard.

Crypto Royale goes multi-token!
A couple months ago, Crypto Royale went multi-chain, by adding support for the Avalanche and Polygon networks. ROY also became a multi-chain currency, available on 3 blockchains at once.
The next part in our evolution is becoming a multi-token platform . This means supporting not only ROY, but any number of tokens, whether it’s AVAX, USDC, JEWEL, UNI, AXS etc. This will make Crypto Royale a hub for crypto in general, and allow other projects to distribute tokens and advertise through us.
Step 1 of our multi-token infrastructure was completed yesterday . CR wallets can now hold multiple tokens, as you can see in the screenshot below. We had AVAX and MATIC tournaments to test it out yesterday and it worked well. !me and !tip commands have also been updated. For the time being we will not offer a way to convert tokens within our platform, or deposit tokens.
Step 2 , which we will be working on next, is to allow distribution of non-ROY tokens within regular games (in the winning wheel), alongside with a bit of advertising. Sponsors will increase payouts by giving away non-ROY, which should bring in more players, which in turn will increase sponsor interest: a virtuous cycle!
Collaboration with Avalanche leads to increased rewards (32% APY) as well as 12 weeks of buy-backs
We are pleased to announce that we’ve been working closely with Ava Labs (the creators of the Avalanche Network). Over the coming 12 months we’ll be running several promotions in collaboration with them.
- Starting December 2nd, withdrawing to AVAX will be almost FREE, and cheaper than any other blockchain!
- Starting December 6th, and for 12 weeks, ROY held on AVAX will yield 32% APY (double the usual 16%).
All you need to do is move your ROY to AVAX. The wallet page will show a breakdown of ROY held, by blockchain
