Bit Hotel
Proposal overview
Our aim is to create a Harmony chain integrated Metaverse Hotel, and become the go-to social and gaming hub for Harmony users. We want to enrich the chain with upgradeable NFT tech, seamless cross-chain play 2 earn gaming, and a booming community of users trading Bit Hotel assets on Harmony.
Why we choose to build on Harmony:

We believe that Harmony will be one of the most utilized smart contract platforms in the space, and we want to be pioneers and help make this a realization.

We see a gap to be filled in the Harmony suite of Dapps and plethora of communities, wherein we would serve as the social metaverse for Harmony users across multiple platforms.

We see the need for a central point within which the existing Dapps on Harmony can be integrated into. From within Bit Hotel we can link rooms directly to dapp’s in a frictionless manner.

We want to familiarize ourselves with Harmony, so we can continue to build our future products on Harmony.

We want to launch new projects onto Harmony through our in-metaverse launchpad, and allow these projects to become subsequent pioneers.
Key features of Bit Hotel deployment on Harmony:

Deployment of the Bit Hotel Token onto Harmony.

Integration of Harmony native wallets into Bit Hotel, giving access to Defi apps such as staking directly on Harmony.

Bit Hotel in-metaverse launchpad will be made compatible with Harmony tokens.

Deployment of Bit Hotel’s NFT marketplace onto Harmony, to serve as a primary and secondary market for native Bit Hotel NFTs. This includes the option to deploy a general marketplace for Harmony NFTs.

Exclusive Harmony NFT drops, consisting of playable land and character NFTs - possibly Branded with Harmony or done with Harmony native partners.

Open up Land NFT allocation opportunities to Harmony based community leaders, VCs, Harmony protocol, and other projects building on Harmony; to acquire land (rooms), and matching NFT characters. These assets can link directly to sites outside of the game from within Bit Hotel.

Introduce our NFT renting functionalities, that will allow Harmony users to rent their assets and become true Hotel Landlords.

Deploy Hotel Floors on Harmony- these will contain the NFT rooms (land), this will be a dedicated area for the Harmony Metaverse, in which users can host both social and gaming events, e.g. NFT auctions, NFT galleries, AMAs, Conferences, Gaming competitions. The rooms on these floors are the assets that hold these utilities.

Harmony protocol can be allocated a Harmony club house / conference room to host their own social events.

Optional: A dedicated Harmony deployed NFT marketplace, on which all Harmony-Native NFTs can be traded and auctioned.
Deploying Bit Hotel, will allow Harmony users to have cross-chain interaction within the metaverse at the same time. Users will be able to scan their assets across chains, and showcase them in the Bit Hotel. Harmony will have a dedicated social hub that will stimulate gaming tournaments on the Harmony blockchain, with Harmony exclusive mini-games being created to stimulate the influx of existing Bit Hotel users, to use Harmony, and gain access to the rewards won through these mini-games.
Expected financial value of Bit Hotel on Harmony
Bit Hotel’s ecosystem includes Defi, P2E, Social Networks, Digital identities, cross-metaverse integrations and much more.Cross-chain integration and marketing activities will enable the over 300.000 Bit Hotel cross-channel community members to sign up for wallets on the new chains and enter chain-specific NFT drops and in-metaverse events.
This translates to more chain-specific: TVL, Transactions, Users, Holders.

Phase 1 (Q2, Q3):
Phase 1 will mainly consist of designing/implementing the cross-chain architecture of Bit Hotel. Integration in this phase will happen with the website of Bit Hotel, which will contain; an NFT marketplace upgrade, NFT overviews and a hotel/room overview. A basis will be implemented to easily integrate the Harmony ecosystem with the game later in Phase 2.
In the first phase we will deploy a native Harmony NFT asset to introduce a part of our community to the Harmony network. The next step will be to deploy our marketplace contract to Harmony, so that the Harmony native NFTs can be traded within the Bit Hotel Metaverse environment. To trade within our environment we need to integrate the Harmony deployed marketplace contract with our website. The Bit Hotel community will be able to switch between the Harmony and BSC marketplace.
In the following step we want to implement an API that scans Harmony and BSC for the user’s NFT and generates an overview of all the NFT assets a user owns. The API will be integrated on the Bit Hotel website displaying all the NFTs in one place and allowing a user to interact with these NFTs (Automatically switching between Harmony and BSC while necessary).
Phase 2. (Q4, Q1(2023)):
The second phase will be focused on the integration of the Harmony ecosystem with the actual game. Users of the Harmony protocol can load in there NFTs into the game, claim rewards within game and play Harmony native Dapps within the hotel.
First we will integrate Harmony with the Bit Hotel Gaming Ecosystem, so that users will be able to load in all their Harmony assets into the game (e.q. Rooms, characters, furniture). In addition to the NFT assets that can be loaded in, players can also participate in metaverse gaming events that are deployed and accessible exclusively when connected with a Harmony wallet. Furthermore, we will focus on integrating Harmony Dapps into the Bit Hotel metaverse. These could be already existing, or Dapps created by the Bit Hotel team. Our main metric for success will be the complete execution of Milestone 1 and 2, with

- $10K after launching on our mainnet with audit
- $10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion)
