Proposal overview
HackFledge is a student-run Hackathon established to provide students with a platform to learn, grow and develop the technology of the future. Our mission is to promote, educate, and enhance the community around us by giving students the platform to learn and create technology. We understand that students need a platform to showcase their skills and talents and learn something new and be able to make a difference in the world, so we do provide a platform for them.
Currently, we have a hackathon track for BlockChain. It’s an open track and hackers can build what they what. It will increase creativity and innovation. Currently, we completed the technical side and waiting for sponsors. Sadly, we only have 10 days approximately for the event. This is a hybrid event. We’re expecting 250 hackers in person and 500 in virtual.

We would also love to have the Harmony community participate to ask questions and provide feedbacks.
If you have more details to add, please do so by replying to this thread.
Hi there, initially we planned to conduct the event on May 17. Unfortunately, we couldn’t land any sponsors in a short time. So we postponed the event to September 2022. We’re sure that we can conduct a grand event in a period of four months. We’d like you as a part of our event.
Thanks
-Abel
Welcome, @hack3rboy. What is the status of the revised date? What sponsors do you have lined up?
Is it possible to structure a sponsorship package that would utilize the vast majority of the funds to bootstrap the best project(s) to launch on Harmony? If so, would we be able to choose a track, or are you remaining open-concept?
Matty
Hi Harmony, Sorry for the late reply. We have scheduled the event for September 23 to 25. Currently, we don’t have any sponsors with financial aid. but we are partnered with Devfolio, StreamYard, GenXYZ, etc, as our sponsors and partners. We are also in the process of partnering with Major League Hacking as their season hackathon event. I hope you’ll take this humble event into your consideration
Thanks
-Abel
Hey @Mattyontap can we set up a meeting so that we can discuss this in a more detailed way?
@hack3rboy Thank you for following up with me. As you may be aware, we have paused the sponsoring of all new events and hackathons until further notice. I look forward to when we can connect again, and wish you the best success in your hackathon!
Matty
