I have joined, thank you. From what I’ve seen in tutorials etc, it is as it’s described Developer focused yes? The other skillsets we’re proposing aren’t covered?
This seems really rad, but are there not a few others already doing this? Obvs it’s possible to do it better than others or to even join others. I was just wondering your views on other competitors aligned around the same thing?
I believe we’re more than happy to work with others, if you know who has budget to support the collaboration, or integration we would very much welcome that. Those we have had conversations with have already earmarked their funds. That’s the issue we’ve come across.

This is very cool! Our team is not so much into the mining parts but definitely can see some synergy in terms of setting up educational hubs. We are trying to collaborate with some real estate folks in India to setup Educational Hubs that can turn into Hacker Houses where all year round, folks can come and hang, attend educational sessions and participate in buildathons. Parts of the space can be accelerator/incubator models where you can help builders get funded and become self sustainable yourself. Sky is the limit truly 
I am sure several protocols would love to support this initiative where there’s a train + build model throughout the year.

I think i saw you wanted property in Florida. thats 3500 miles from Harmony Labs in SF and india thats 9000 miles. Lets do something where a couple of things could take place.
- I own a building, its vacant and its ready for crypto take over
- Tahoe is a 3 hour drive to the mother ship HARMONY. Anybody who knows about Harmony could come for a visit. That puts a lot of investors in our local. We do not have to lean on HARMONY for too much start up cash. We can do it with community. Imagine Camping, then walking into the NFT Studio creating some 1 of 1 Art and while its drying you are in the sound booth putting your youtube vids together. Then go out side to the garden and grab some vegies for the Dev, Founder, Builder, creator lunch’s. We THRIVE OUR LIVES as Crypto NUTS IN A HUT. Its happening. its not waiting for anybodys permission . Crypto is community first, then tech, then sales. We have 691 more days until Bitcoin Halves again. We teach Bitcoin and its importance to the Whole Crypto ECO system. With out Bitcoin being mined. there would not be and evolution of money and tech that is about to happen. anybody who is local (no offence) but if you can drive between San Francisco and Reno you are our people. We can pick you up a three airports if you are adventurous and want to invest in the Camp Crypto Franchise. If you bought 1000 ETH in 2016 and want to do more then own a BAYC we are your huckleberry’s.

All approvals and proposals for DAO Bootstrap Funding are paused. This is a temporary measure. Please do not let this dissuade you and your team from building. Stay tuned for another update regarding DAO Bootstrap Funding

The Harmony DAO Ops team has decided to decline this proposal. The funding request is out-of-scope.
We have found over the past year of DAO operations that the organizations that don’t start with a large, dedicated community and a goal to fund themselves tend to have very low success rates. They tend to have a hard time recruiting additional community support and tend to bring limited value to the overall Harmony ecosystem.
The bar to receive a DAO bootstrap grant is now higher than it has been historically. In order to receive a bootstrap grant going forward, DAOs will need to evidence a high level of transparent reporting, robust community involvement and a business plan that reflects a commitment to self-funding. Further guidelines are being finalized and should be released in the coming week.
I apologize that this process has been lengthy and drawn-out and I appreciate yours and the DAOs patience. Harmony and the DAO Ops team wanted to exhaust every option before responding with a declination.
Do not let this dissuade you or your DAOs passion to build on Harmony. Harmony is integrating new tools to help build a robust DAO ecosystem. I’m looking forward to your success.
