The second week of Harmony DAO India was definitely exciting and engaging. The team’s bonding has grown and the Governors are contributing to each other’s profile as per their expertise. Guided with the principles of transparency and accountability, the team has performed its duties in a time-bound manner as is evidenced in the time sheets.
In order to decide the right way forward, the Governors have engaged on multiple occasions with group calls led by the Lead Governor and each working unit i.e. Content, Marketing, Operations and the Technical units have put their views across to steer through the week.
With 266 Twitter followers, we have achieved a little more than the targeted halfway mark within 2 weeks. (Target for the first month is 500 followers). The meme contest held on the occasion of Republic day of India has been extremely instrumental in getting a jump in the number of followers. ‘Engage, educate and earn’ is a cyclic process that the Team intends to take up for its community building activities!

Major moves that Harmony has been making towards ecosystem development like the onboarding of PrivacyDAO and zkDAO as well as exciting growth figures obtained from various sources like Harmony’s Twitter handle, Messari’s growth report, etc.
Republic day greetings for the Indian Community and the launch of a meme contest on the people’s perception of Harmony India DAO and the good we can do to the community.
We also make sure to portray any and every new integrations like the bridging of AAG and ONE on Sushiswap, etc.
The tweets were accompanied by great visuals made by our talented Graphics team and that has definitely contributed to approximately 67.3K impressions made on an average of a staggering 4807 impressions on a daily basis and over 24K profile visits.
The ‘Republic Day Meme Contest’ can be clearly chosen as the star of the week. With 83 entries, the community has really shown their excitement by engaging on not just the Twitter handle, but also on the Telegram group where the entries were shared for peer feedback. After shortlisting the entries, the Top 3 memes were chosen by a unanimous vote by the Governors. This has ensured complete transparency in the rewarding mechanism.
The Telegram community continues to grow with 121 members and only in the first few hours if the 1st of February, approximately 2326 messages exchanged in the group. And we may add, the conversations were focused on how the Indian Crypto community is receptive towards Harmony and the inclusion of cryptocurrency in the latest budget proposals being brought forward by the Indian Government. The engagement is insightful, light-hearted yet informative. The DAO team is planned to bring in more engagement by organizing spiffs for the most active users, the highest contributors in terms of perception building for Harmony, etc.
In order to streamline its work, the team has constantly been updating the time-sheets and the maker-checker concept (two members in each unit) has ensured that accountability is readily verified and the work that is being done is vetted for any errors that may inadvertently creep in. The synergy in which the team is working is absolutely phenomenal. As the Lead Governor, I can say that it is a pleasure to work with an organized, responsible and innovative team.
We at Harmony India DAO are extremely optimistic regarding the upcoming weeks as we intend to engage the community by organizing virtual meet-ups, giveaway events and other engagement events for our Twitter and Telegram communities.
