I think funding is on hold. And to be honest, getting 1000 Twitter followers isn’t that big of a deal. My own personal account got 1000 Twitter followers after 1.5 months of Twitter use… just showed up to some rooms and got followed.

@Sam Sam, do we still need the 1k of twitter followers as a milestone funding goal? A lot of Harmony community members think that is a super low-effort goal. If the question is how active a DAO is on social media, then perhaps rooms hosted, active tune ins, and so forth would be superior modes of evaluating it? 1000 Twitter followers really is not hard to get at all.

Yeah , you can literally buy 1k followers for about $10/15 and you’ll have them within a day

Everyone knows that is possible and you can easily see who did it however everyone on the dao know that I defended since the start to not use this and we achieved this metric organically
If it’s a good metric or not I will not judge we just accomplished as requested and we are posting and it’s worth the effort everyone put into it
Organically? Your last post – from the Portugal DAO – was 2 weeks ago. You mostly retweet posts. I see no recent Twitter spaces that you’ve hosted posted on your DAO’s profile.

10k for partnering with a Hackathon? All you would need to do is use 5k to sponsor one? How would it help Harmony? Is it a Hackathon supported by the Harmony core team?
10k for sourcing 5 approved grantees? What evidence is there, if any, of your progress in this area?

Yup 2 weeks ago is kinda coincident with the time we achieve the metrics and have no answers since then, plus the feedback from stop funding DAOs . . not sure what you try to imply here but i see you like to jump in to conclusions. Congrats to the few active elements on the DAO that keep doing it even with almost no feedback is the only think i have to say. About metrics you should try to figure that with the people that decide them and force everyone to do it as a start up instead of letting people propose other achievements and let the community decided if they bring value to harmony like we tried to and got rejected …which you would know if you are not taking assumptions on first hand. If you loved Harmony, you would post despite the issues around when the Harmony core team would finalize and resume grant funding.

im sorry to ask but are you dumb? where did you saw we got funded for that achievement? it’s pending and will not happen that soon, the next predicted Hackathon we could possibly sponsor is in july…has a favor because 10k is not enough even to be bronze … you literally talk about stuff you have no clue or idea…
Yes, each event costs around 4k i portugal on a web3 coworking space well known called “THE Block” Harmony team itself did events there when they were in portugal and referred it to me… and we were able to do 2 for less money… are you gona say congrats to that? because everything that we saved is on our treasury we didnt put on our pockes because we are trying to achieve sustainability and it seems we are locked with metrics that werent even us to propose in first place so dont ask me those questions… ask why are this metrics considered to scale regional DAOs to who make them.
i have got university schools and professors besides that other grantees that came to forum and were not even reached back
besides other initiatives that never required heavy grant investments, mostly support and quick start with real metrics to achieve

I think you should make progress on milestones TOWARDs getting funding. If a DAO’s work is entirely based on hitting milestones, what progress are you making towards those milestones?
