Man you guys really need to put more thought to this.
Keeping your company away from India doesn’t mean Indian users won’t have to deal with crypto taxes. Most crypto exchanges are not based in India but using them still subjects you to the same tax laws as an exchange in India.
Thank you @Viben and @sick_of_this for the productive conversation here. Having this level of conversation on proposals provides the grants team with additional insight and its greatly appreciated. I think a number of valid points have been raised here which can lead to problems down the line with the success of the social media platform. I’m very excited that the Viben team is passionate about building and hope to see you folks back here with another proposal in the near future.
For now, we’ll have to decline this proposal but I do hope you stay in the Harmony community and continue to build permissionlessly.
