Hello Harmonauts! I’m excited to announce my candidacy for ONE of the Governor positions with the Community DAO!
Who am I?
Many of you may be familiar with me as Trippy Crypto on Twitter and other social platforms, but my name is James and I’ve been an active member of the Harmony ONE Family since the early part of 2021. I’m a single father hailing from Cleveland, Ohio with a blue-collar background who sees the massive opportunities that Harmony ONE and DAOs will provide to my daughter’s generation and the downtrodden communities of the world by changing the way we view work, finance, and individual freedom.
I got into Bitcoin last September and it was my doorway into crypto, stumbling onto ONE in February was a revelation and really opened my eyes to the possibilities DeFi brings, but most of all the ethos behind the project and discovering the Harmony Community has made me feel I’ve found a home in this new digital landscape.
Past Work Experience
I’ve had a variety of occupations in my life including food service, construction, data entry, retail management & my current job as a Supervisory Management Specialist with the local VA. I’ve always tried to make the most of any opportunity that I’ve been presented with, having worked my way up the ladder with only a HS diploma through hard work and determination.
What I Bring To The Harmony Community DAO
My success in my career has been a result of team building, customer service, communications and coming up with creative solutions to problems. I want to put those skills to work in serving the community by providing the FAM the best information on Harmony and its ecosystem. Education in my opinion is the key to adoption, the more knowledgeable users are about the different products built on Harmony the more likely they are to become a Crazy.One for life. I’ve always been an idea man and have plenty of ideas on ways to give back to and grow the community. As an individual I can only do so much but working with the community DAO I feel I can finally bring these plans to fruition. I also look forward to the opportunity to work along with the other DAOs and continue to use my social platform to shine a light on community initiatives, validators, and all the innovative projects being developed to help onboard the next million Harmonauts.
My Pledge To The Community
I promise to bring to the community and OUR DAO the same rabid work ethic that’s gotten me where I am today, which will be easy as this is truly a labor of love for me. I will always act in good faith and the best interests of the ONE FAM, maintaining an open dialogue with the community to get their input and to address any questions or concerns as I do currently.
There are a number of fantastic candidates in this field. Knowing that I humbly ask for your vote. Regardless of the outcome I am here to support whoever the community chooses and offer my assistance to any and everyone who is working to build these DAOs and progress Harmony toward full decentralization as I believe these are imperative to our success as a community.
