Cryllium x Harmony — Strategic Partner Recruitment

Ecosystem Growth & Support Services

Introduction

Firstly, I would like to say thank you for taking an interest in our proposal we hope you find the content of value. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out, we will be happy to answer them as promptly as possible.

The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella once said “Every company is now a software company”. The question now is, how long until “Every company is a blockchain company?” – maybe not entirely, but we believe that eventually every company will interact with a blockchain in some shape or form.

Who we are
Cryllium is a blockchain-focused ecosystem development team within TPL Digital. TPL Digital are a global B2B channel marketing agency specialising in ecosystem growth and support services, that have been working with some of the world’s most prominent technology and finance companies to increase their partner base for over 12 years. These include the likes of SAP, Oracle, Ernst & Young and NASDAQ.

Cryllium’s goal is to increase the awareness and adoption of leading blockchain networks, protocols and companies. We are firm believers that blockchain technology will help make peoples lives easier, data more accessible and push the next technological revolution, which we strive to be part of.

TPL Digital have been financially invested in cryptocurrency companies, including Harmony, since 2020 and are now looking to offer their ecosystem growth and support services to companies operating in this space.

Cryllium’s 3 Proposals
Today we are posting 3 separate proposals across the forum. We aim to help harmony create an efficient and highly effective partner recruitment and engagement process, delivering a positive and worthwhile experience for partners at every touch point. Our vision is to help the Harmony team achieve our collective goals of adoption and interoperability, in order to become one of the top blockchain networks providing an open consensus for 10 billion people.

According to Metcalfe’s Law ‘a network’s value is proportional to the square of the number of nodes in the network’. This means every new participant brings more value into the network. It is for this reason we see exponential growth in cryptocurrencies. It is for this reason also, that it should be a goal for all chains to attract and sustain a healthy amount of participants.

That therefore highlights the question; how do we attract people to our chain and fulfill their needs in order for them to stick around? We have submitted these 3 separate proposals to provide solutions to these problems, this document being 1 of them. These proposals aim to enhance the partner and user experience by increasing adoption, interoperability and value of the harmony ecosystem, moving us 1 big step closer to our collective goal.

Strategic Partner Recruitment

Introduction to this partner recruitment proposal

Our aim is to work closely with Harmony to plan and execute 3 strategic partner recruitment programmes, each assisting with our goals of interoperability and adoption. All 3 of the partner programs will be presented as sub proposals which can work independently, while when combined they synergize. The 3 strategic partner categories are as follows:

A) Interoperability & Cross-Chain Partners
These are other L1/2 Solutions, dApps, DAOs, Companies or entities currently developing or using blockchain technology who could integrate/migrate to Harmony, adding value to the ecosystem.

B) Adoption Partners
These are traditional companies, governments or other entities looking to build or integrate with blockchain technology but are not yet doing so.

C) Integration Partners
These are companies / personnel who offer web and blockchain development services to support new and current partners with development initiatives.

A) Interoperability & Cross-Chain Partners

If this technology is to truly succeed then interoperability between chains and apps is imperative. But the question remains, how do we attract people to our chain and fulfill their needs in order for them to stick around? Interoperability & cross-chain partners are part of the answer. By attracting and encouraging existing players to integrate or migrate to Harmony, we’ll increase the variety of solutions for Harmony users. This will bring new users into the network and increase the probability of them staying. We aim to increase interoperability and cross-chain transactions on the Harmony network by executing a 1 year strategic partner recruitment campaign, targeting key accounts.

Addressable Universe

The strategic accounts we approach would be defined by the community and/or the Harmony team. We would expect to approach and engage with entities that bring value to Harmony through various products and services. There are many interoperability & cross-chain partners that have already integrated with the Harmony ecosystem and add significant value the ecosystem, such as:

  • Chainlink
  • Aave
  • SushiSwap
  • BoredApeYC

Our goal for this partner recruitment campaign would be to target similar entities of all sizes that can bring value to the Harmony ecosystem.

Execution Strategy

  • Workshops with Harmony to discuss working processes (lead hand-over etc)
  • Workshops with Harmony team to discuss key targeting
  • Research into target markets & ideal partner profiles
  • Content workshops to discuss potential content ideas for inbound marketing practices
  • Target account data collection and ideal partner profiling
  • Distribute inbound content across relevant channels
  • Multi-channel outbound demand generation services (Phone, Email)
  • Digital & Social Outreach
  • Create proposals on DAO forums of target accounts and engage with key community members to review and engage with the proposal
  • Regular meetings with Harmony to discuss campaign improvements
  • Regular reports to Harmony team about campaign progress.

Projected Outcome

The amount and types of accounts we engage with would depend on the targeting decided through conversations with the Harmony team and community. Assuming for the proposal we are approaching blockchain companies of all sizes that bring significant value to the network. We would expect to on-board 35 key partners over the course of 1 year. These partnerships of interoperability would add significant value and increase adoption of the Harmony network by bringing a percentage of their users across, and providing existing users more utility. The value added to the network would in turn attract more companies, governments or entities who are not yet using blockchain technology to further consider Harmony as their blockchain of choice.

Proposed Budgets

Team Structure
To execute this partner recruitment campaign we would deploy a team of 4 part-time staff over the course of 1 year, with the aim to continuously provide regular interoperability & cross-chain partnership opportunities. The core teams roles are summarized below.

Board Director x 1 (Part Time)
Brings 15+ years experience of Ecosystem development and commercial partner modelling Consultancy & input to set up and kickstart phase of program.

  • Strategy & Planning
  • C-Suite Engagement

B) Adoption Partnerships

With the rapid expansion of Blockchains – Web3, NFTs, Metaverse, most companies and/or Governments are aware of Blockchain technology and should be discovering the potential of how it could help them. But where do they start? How easy is it for them to integrate their system into a blockchain network? What is the transaction speed and how much will it cost? Approaching, engaging and supporting these off-chain entities with the transition to Harmony’s technology is key to supporting the growth and value of the ecosystem.

Addressable Universe

As many of you may have noticed, an upward trend of global B2B, B2C companies & other global organisations are starting to become adopters of blockchain technology and are starting to move some of their service offerings on-chain. Below are some examples of the variety ways they’re doing so.

Above is an image taken from Blockdata outlining the ‘Top 10 technologies used by the top 100 institutions’

As this image portrays, the Ethereum network is one of the largest network seeing adoption. As the Harmony networks grows in value through interoperability and cross-chain partnerships, we can expect some significant market share to shift towards the Harmony ecosystem. Why can we expect this? Given that the Harmony network runs Ethereum applications with 2-second transaction finality and 1000 times lower fees, we believe the potential to on-board current Ethereum based projects and new off-chain entities is huge.

Our proposal

In order to achieve our collective goal of increasing adoption we propose a strategic partner recruitment campaign. In this campaign, we will identify and recruit off-chain entities to the Harmony network. Below describes how we initially plan to do this, please note that this may be subject to change after speaking to the Harmony team. The initial proposal is for a continuous service offered over the course of 1 year.

Execution Strategy

  • Workshops with Harmony to discuss working processes
  • Define lead hand-over processes, to integration partners (see section C) or direct to Harmony
  • Workshops with Harmony team to discuss key targeting
  • Research into target markets & ideal partner profiles
  • Content workshops to discuss potential content ideas for inbound marketing practices
  • Target account data collection and ideal partner profiling
  • Distribute inbound content across relevant channels
  • Multi-channel outbound demand generation services (Phone, Email)
  • Digital & Social Outreach
  • Regular meetings with Harmony to discuss campaign improvements
  • Regular reports to Harmony team about campaign progress

Projected Outcome

Cryllium would expect to recruit 120 Adoption partners over the course of 1 year. The size & profile of these partners would really depend on the target parameters as defined in the workshops. For the sake of this proposal, we are going to assume that we are targeting partners of all sizes, from start-ups to global institutions. To define company size we will be using the number of employees as a basic firmagraphics startpoint.

Proposed Budgets

Team Structure
120 partnerships averages to 10 a month. In order to achieve this level of output the following team will be required; 1 full-time staff and 3 part-time staff over the course of 1 year, with the aim to continuously provide regular adoption partnership opportunities. The core teams roles are summarized below.

Board Director x 1 (Part Time)
Brings 15+ years experience of Ecosystem development and commercial partner modelling Consultancy & input to set up and kickstart phase of program.

  • Strategy & Planning
  • C-Suite Engagement
  • Group Resources

Account / Project Manager x 1 (Part Time)

  • Tactical Planning & Execution
  • Harmony key point of contact SPOC
  • KPI Reporting on progress and performance
  • Day-to-day project Management

Digital Demand Agent (DDA) x 1 (Full Time)
Experienced DDA in global technology markets and ecosystems, highly skilled in digital outreach techniques and profiling suitable partner prospects

  • Digital Outreach (Email & Social)
  • Campaign Execution

Telemarketer x 1 (Part Time)
Experienced technology sales professional with 5 years+ experience in nurturing and recruiting new partners and prospects for Ecosystems. Experience across many industry sectors and technology platforms such as Fintech, Ecotech, Biotech. Used to accelerate nurture of digital leads toward sales close status and partnership agreements.

  • Telemarketing Outreach & Inbound Nurture
  • Campaign Execution

Budgets are an estimate based on current exchange rate of £1 = $1.32

C) Integration Partnerships

This section of the proposal will focus on an important issue which we see many companies facing; how to develop and integrate with the Harmony network. This is especially true if they’re not a software-focused company. Our proposal seeks to resolve this issue by building a network of reliable development and integration partners. Building a solid base of integration partners will help speed up development and the integration for entities looking to develop on or interact with the Harmony blockchain.

Aetsoft is an example of a blockchain focused development and integration company able to assist companies looking to create or integrate products with blockchains. As you can see from the image below, they cover a large variety of chains and technologies. Unfortunately, Harmony is not on their list, yet! Given the similarities with the Ethereum and Binance chains, it’s to our understanding that offering support for the Harmony network would be relatively easy.

This proposal seeks to approach companies such as Aetsoft to partner with Harmony, so we able to provide a positive on boarding solution for any adoption or interoperability & cross-chain partners. The partnership model itself is something that needs to be discussed in more detail with the Harmony team, however a tier 1 partnership could look something like:

To ensure commitment and a 2-way partnership, any integration partner like Aetsoft would be expected to support the harmony ecosystem. They would need to buy and stake 100,000 ONE tokens with a specific “partner validator” as a commitment. The rewards on this partner validator would be significantly reduced due to validator fees being increased. Any fees generated by the partner validator would be sold to fund future strategic partner recruitment campaigns.

A model like this would create continuous growth, through “self” or “part-funded” marketing campaigns, where by the more integration partners there is, the more money available for campaigns and the more opportunities integration partners will receive.

To summarise, alongside their initial 100,000 ONE token investment, tier 1 integration partners would receive:

  • Support from Harmony on Protocol challenges
  • Marketing support from Cryllium
  • Opportunities generated from adoption / interoperability & cross-chain marketing campaigns
  • Small rewards from staking with the “partner validator”

Harmony and the community would receive:

  • An integration partner to support on-boarding new partners
  • Self or part-funded continuous marketing campaigns that benefit the Harmony network
  • Increased adoption and interoperability of the Harmony network

Creating a complex partnership ecosystem such as this one would have many moving parts and would need to be discussed with the harmony ecosystem team in detail. The execution strategy outlined below is only a rough guide of how something like this could work. The initial proposal is for a continuous service offered over the course of 1 year.

Execution Strategy

  • Workshops with Harmony to discuss working processes
  • Workshops with Harmony to discuss Partnership Models (Tiers, Benefits etc)
  • Workshops with Harmony team to discuss key targeting
  • Build & manage integration partner network ready to support entities with onboarding to the Harmony ecosystem
  • Begin target account data collection and ideal partner profiling
  • Start multi-channel outbound demand generation services (Phone, Email)
  • Digital & Social Outreach
  • Setting up new meetings with potential integration partners and Harmony team to discuss partnership opportunities
  • Manage enquiries from off-chain partners and point them to our ecosystem of integration partners

Projected Outcome

Cryllium would support Harmony in building and managing an integration partner network, with the goal of supporting entities with on boarding into the Harmony ecosystem. The number of integration partnerships really depends on how the partnership models are created and which type of integration partners we are prioritising. Because of this, we don’t want to commit a number to the amount of integration partners we would expect to on-board until we have spoken to Harmony directly. For this reason, it’s difficult to price this proposal until further discussions happen. However, we would expect to commit the following team members over the course of a year to this proposal.

Proposed Budgets

Team Structure
Given the addressable universe size for this campaign, we would expect to commit less time compared to the other partner recruitment campaigns. Our plan is to commit 4 staff working part time over the course of 1 year to help enhance the developer and integration community within the Harmony ecosystem. The core teams roles are summarized below.

Board Director x 1 (Part Time)
Brings 15+ years experience of Ecosystem development and commercial partner modelling Consultancy & input to set up and kickstart phase of program

  • Strategy & Planning
  • C-Suite Engagement
  • Group Resources

  • KPI Reporting on progress and performance
  • Day-to-day project Management

  • Telemarketing Outreach & Inbound Nurture
  • Campaign Execution

Budgets are an estimate based on current exchange rate of £1 = $1.32

Summary

As you can see, each of the partnership campaigns synergize creating a complete partnership package. We believe that these partnerships will help Harmony achieve the mid to long-term goals of increasing adoption, interoperability and recruiting more developers. We also feel that with continuous dedication, hard work and collaboration, we can support Harmony in achieving their ultimate goal of providing an open consensus for 10 billion people. As followers and investors of the Harmony ecosystem, we are looking for our relationship to develop and for our efforts to bolster Harmony’s already impressive progress.

Thanks for your proposal, it has been assigned and the team will review and respond shortly :blue_heart:

Thanks for your reply Mattyontap. Looking forward to the team’s response :blue_heart:

I love this pitch. I call it a pitch as it is well detailed and so much more of a proposal. Should this be approved and the metrics achieved on onboarding at least 120 offchain partners within the next 12 months, this protocol would become unstoppable.

Wishing you the very best and would be great to contribute to this in the future.
