Proposal overview
NFTs are a major phenomenon and they are here to stay. Apart from being these cool little artsy things that live on the blockchain - they also provide a “human” connection bringing our unique cultures into the blockchain
Dat Penguin club is home to 10,000 unique generative penguins, with absolutely stunning artworks. We’ve put a lot of thought into the UI / UX of the marketplace so far with mainly glassmorphic and neon elements informing the design language of the site along with some awesome design elements like the “Penguin Press”
The fun thing is we’ve also got a rarity selector built into the site already 
and it’s pretty darn amazing. And we’re also live on the harmony testnet. Ok so now the question is what are we intending to do with the $50K
- We intend to be Harmony’s largest NFT community - to achieve that we need user adoption - and will need to drive traffic to our site. Assuming a low CPM of $10 for 1000 impressions especially in the crypto space to run campaigns on social media / search aggregators - we’d need to have to at-least have a million impressions so that we could feel comfortable about that our initial mint of 10,000 would be sold out. Specifically we’d be using Twitter Ads, starting Reddit threads, hiring a Discord moderator, hiring a social media manager, engage YouTube influencers and pursue other avenues to get eyes on the project before the drop date.

We’re Harmony Exclusive and we’re investing in the ecosystem - the Minting Dapp for Dat Penguin Club only supports the Harmony One Wallet extension. However, we’ve encountered some bugs around displaying NFTs in the harmony one chrome extension wallet and we’ve managed to fix it in our local dev environments and intend to push it in along with pre-saved contract addresses for a seamless experience. This is just part of the engineering commitment from Dat Penguin Club to the Harmony chain

Game to bridge real world to NFTs - The team has big dreams for Dat Penguin Club. After our initial mint, we’re intending to create an exercise app that lives on wearables like Apple Watch and Phone Devices. Based on the physical activity of the user, their penguin would gain certain attributes, and this penguin would be an NFT which is part of Dat Penguin Club. This could be really huge and the team is extremely passionate to make it happen

Metrics for success
Milestone 1: $10,000 for going live on testnet and mainnet with changes to the Harmony Chrome Browser Wallet Extension and integrate with the new 1wallet when it goes live to ensure seamless user experience. Cause user experience is NUMBER ONE for us
Milestone 2: $25,000 to create social media marketing campaigns for successful initial mint - Avenues and details mentioned in proposal overview. This would be spent over a two month period with the initial launch being right in the middle of this period.
Milestone 3: $15,000 to have a functioning HTTPS backend server that has an adequate schema for the upcoming game to Dat Penguin Club and acts as an intermediary between the Harmony blockchain and the mobile devices (Phone or Apple Watch). As the team is currently only filled with one front end engineer and one mobile developer and a traditional backend engineer - we will need to hire a solidity engineer to create the interaction with backend and the blockchain and this contract needs to have a security audit as well. We will have a functioning postman collection at the end of the stage to give visibility into our progress.
