I am Borja, metaverse architect, 3d artist and one of the future Gallery DAO governors. With a bachelor in architecture and a master in museography I can´t wait to take part in the disruption of the exhibition scene taking advantage of the web 3.0 tools and assets. Being one of the Co-Founders of NomuLabs, a development and design studio based in Spain, I have wide experience in the field of NFTs. I believe it is time for the NFT community to actually bring a new experience into the reception and conception of art.

Hi everyone, my name is Will from the UK, living in Mexico City. I am one of the prospective governors of Gallery DAO. My interest is in community formation and governance both on and off line. By day I build live work spaces for remote workers by night I run the grants program for the Human Protocol, a multi chain protocol that allows people to request, receive and settle work. Human allows people across the globe to collaborate on tasks and get remunerated in a manner that works for them.
I have a background in helping creative businesses become financially sustainable; my first business was putting on events and using the proceeds to fund creative workshops for refugees. In 2014 I became COO of a 5 site workspace business focusing on creative entrepreneurs. I am a venture partner at a vc fund for a global creative agency and I created the strategy for the European Creative Hubs Network, a network of 215 creative spaces across 38 countries supporting 32k+ creatives.
Great to be here. Very much looking forward to where this journey takes the Gallery DAO.

I am a prospective gallery dao governor and i am incredibly excited about joining a community focused on creativity and connectivity. Some of my superpowers relevant to web 3, art, scaling, and community development are based in the real estate space. I am a project manager that believes In listening to my community and finding a creative way to make an impact. I hope to add value to this community by finding resourceful and new ways to merge digital with physical space.

Hello @frwrdslosh and Harmonauts worldwide we are thrilled to announce that we recently held an election with our 108 incredible members to select our first 9 governors out of 12 deserving candidates. We had 101 voting members. We also issued a POAP social token to mark their membership and which will be also redeemable for a social token via Harmony.
Tomorrow (May 5) we will set up our multi-sig wallet which we believe means we have shown 1) shared interest 2) shared responsibility and 3) shared assets according to the new DAO funding guidelines.
With that I present our updated proposal, which includes our 9 governors for the first term. When we talk about radical social change its important to highlight that our governors also represent several minority groups and that our members come from 6 continents and speak 10+ languages. BIPOC, Women, AAPI, LGBTQ+, and more are voices at the table of The Gallery DAO and we can’t wait to not only build on Harmony, but also help to grow the ecosystem! We also plan to work with Harmony Spain and core members to create impactful events in the next six months (including ETh Mexico / Dev Connect Bogota)

Introduction
The Gallery DAO is an XR art project and service DAO with social tokens and NFT utility. We are artists, architects, digital curators, developers, dreamers, and designers. Over the last year, we’ve created both large-scale immersive NFT experiences and intimate events focusing on education, art, and tech.
The members and governors of The Gallery DAO have curated NFT projects and generated sales through partnerships with artists, in addition to IRL web 3.0 onboarding in the U.S., Spain, France, Mexico, Sweden, and Germany. Over 10,000 people have engaged in web 3 with our team, and we’ve also partnered on projects with the Highline Nine in NYC, The Design Center or Toronto, and Porsche.
We are a diverse group of web 3 ninjas who believe in sovereignty and craftsmanship. At this stage of our growth, we are looking for a token partner to help us engage with our community in various ways - including live minting and XR experiences. The ability to collaborate with Harmony and its ecosystem will also allow us to create new types of patronage and ownership, starting with The Gallery DAO.
By creating this DAO, we will be able to blueprint opportunities for both galleries and creators to receive funding and be involved in the web 3 space. Pairing innovative technology with NFTs will allow The Gallery DAO to develop prototypes and possibilities for display alongside tech innovators and artists. We also plan to do live minting during our strategic Gallery Pop-ups, allowing visitors to have a 1-on-1 experience with the concept of 1-of-1s. These experiences bridge the gap between the digi/physi by leveraging the physical space to pull the visitor in and have them become a part of the digital creative process.
We plan to incorporate the MetaVerse and Augmented Reality into the experience, making our gallery accessible to people anywhere in the world, especially those who can not attend our IRL exhibitions. Our commitment to an international narrative means that we will also partner with NFT galleries around the world, creating cross-border storytelling across different universal themes - interlinking and expanding on the communal experience vital to web 3.0.
We believe The Gallery Dao supports three core areas of NFT and DAO funding: Curation, Community, and Markets. Our international roadmap also aligns with Harmony’s larger commitment to cross-border finance in 2022 and its vision for 2026.
To start, we are requesting the DAO Bootstrap Grant.

You will see the total amount for three months for $50K. This proposal is being submitted with our 9 governors in place elected from a community vote of 100 people with 12 candidates. All members also received a social token during their vote which hold future utility and will be redeemable for an NFT within the Harmony Ecosystem. Our multi-sig wallet will be established on May 5, 2022.

Sean Bradford - ORIGINSTØRY- SB is an award-winning actor, recording artist, DJ, and creative director. In addition to more than ten years as an entertainment professional, SB is helping build the new web 3 creator economy. He has co-created and produced web 3 events at Dev Connect/Eth Amsterdam, the Bitcoin conference, and NFT NYC. In addition to creating immersive reality experiences, SB is also working on a series of art projects and web 3 music releases under the name ORIGINSTØRY.
Borja Colom - Borja Colom, architect and enthusiast of graphic arts. From cinematography to the pictoric realm, Borja has taken advantage of every tool he has reached in order to express his creativity. He has worked in various creative fields such as design, digital art and cinematography achieving numerous exhibitions. In 2021 he co-founded Nomu, one year later what was once conceived as an NFT exhibition platform is now a design, development and consultancy studio focused in bringing out the value behind NFTs. Borja will also collaborate with The Gallery DAO on spatial and Metaverse design.
Will Mercer - Will heads up the grants programme for Human. Will is a venture strategist and community builder who pulls together communities of entrepreneurs and innovators to create thriving ecosystems that help new ideas grow into businesses. Prior to Human, Will ran startup investments for global creative agency BBH Zag and designed venture programmes for clients such as USAID, Publicis and Expedia. In 2018 Will founded Mission Led, a startup ecosystem consultancy which advised USAID on it’s $50m entrepreneur strategy project in Ukraine, tabled recommendations for a 64k sqkm newly built district of Shanghai and supported the UK’s National Advisory Board on Impact Investing in making the UK the global leader in the field. Prior to this, he founded a residential work and event space in a fairy tale chateau in Burgundy. Will cut his commercial teeth turning around underperforming businesses during the financial crisis whilst at Lloyds Bank and has had a varied career that has included everything from running an adoption charity through to building the world’s leading startup incubator for travel. He has personal investments in 13 startups which he advises regularly. Will holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Reading and a diploma in Finance and Organisational Management from the London Institute of Banking and Finance. He is a guest lecturer on the creative MBA course at ESCP Europe, the world’s oldest business school. Outside of work has his own radio show on Soho radio and enjoys climbing anything made of rock. Will focus on growth, funding opportunities, and CRM (Community Relationship Management) during his governorship.
Lyndsey Hankins - Lyndsey is a graduate of Columbia Business schools EMBA program and has 15 years of international real estate experience - overseeing development, operational financials, and asset management for residential, commercial, office, hospitality, retail, and co-living projects. Lyndsey has experience in both start-ups and large-scale organizations. Most notably, she spent five years at The Related Companies. During her time there, she led the direction of organizational strategy at Hudson Yards, setting the foundation for operations, and also served as Director of FP&A, overseeing $8B in cash flows. Lyndsey has a passion for Operations, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, and Management Strategy.
Victoria Fard - is an award winning Canadian artist specializing in architecture and digital technologies. Her art explores the themes of nature and heritage with the hope of connecting people through visual and immersive forms of storytelling. In previous years Fard has worked on collaborative research at the Department of Architecture and Digital Building Technologies at ETH Zürich. Fard’s work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami, Frieze L.A. and at galleries in New York, Los Angeles and Zürich.
Luis Pozoglio - Luis, is a self taught developer, he has been coding since he was 14 years old. Exploring different areas from cybersecurity, to video game development and artificial intelligence and now blockchain development. After some years as a freelancer and participating in hackathons he finally enrolled in the Ontology Engineering Group, one of the most prestigious semantic web laboratories of Europe. He has a wide background very powerful for agile developments combining a full stack profile, with the ability to design Knowledge Graphs and implement complex logic inside smart contracts.
James Bourque - Manager, Founder, and Entrepreneur, James has held leadership roles in a variety of industries, including hospitality, commercial real estate & construction, and venture capital. James has been building in Web3 since 2017, focused on infrastructure - level tooling for privacy, security, encryption.
Michael Alshooler - Born and raised in New York City, Michael has worked in brand marketing & experiential across the globe with some of the most prestigious luxury & fashion brands. He spent a number of years in London as the former Global Head of Experiential at The Business of Fashion having launched their globally renowned flagship summit VOICES, as well as managing brand & community driving products including BoF 500, BoF Professional, BoF Live, amongst others. An executive leader known for diplomatic measurement of cross functional value proposition he consults with brands such as Christian Dior, OTB Group, AirBnB, as well as launching The World’s Best Events Network as their Cofounder & Head of Brand, Community, and Content. He contributes regularly on the topics of innovative technology in marketing, pr, and experiential. Striving for global impactful change, Michael has an innate desire to help organizations preempt challenges to compete ahead of market changes by consistently offering solution-oriented strategies.
Javier Mateache - Javier holds a Bachelor in Economics from McGill University and a Masters in Management from IE business school in Madrid, where he specialized in the Digital Business track. In addition to holding a Blockchain for business from IEB in Madrid, Mateache has worked for the Venture Capital firm Easysmile in Madrid, and as an individual and institutional investor.

Next Election - will be held on August 5, 2022. We will celebrate our new governors at ETH Mexico and they will begin on August 8th, 2022. This will allow enough time for a smooth transition between incoming and outgoing governorship.
Gallery DAO will help to create a new model for the creator economy, diving into concepts such as proof-of patronage and allowing for cross-border collaboration in completely new ways.
We expect the DAO community to play an active role in curation decisions surrounding live minting, as well as activations conducted throughout the year. Revenue will be generated through NFT sales, activations, and future product ideas that will naturally evolve from this intersection of art & tech. A commitment to artist sovereignty will also help to mold the new creator economy.
Together we can help redefine the contemporary art experience, providing public access while creating a gallery model built on hybrid (digi/physi) interactions with patrons and visitors that can be adopted to develop self-sustaining art spaces that grow community. We are also excited to see how we can collaborate with region-specific Harmony DAO’s, such as Africa DAO and UK DAO to showcase artistic talents on an international stage. We hope to activate Harmony España during our LATAM events, collaborate with members in Madrid to build Metaverse and connect with the Harmony Marketing team to create exciting drops with online and offline activities.
Bootstrap funding will support 3 months of Gallery DAO operations and creation, including our virtual gallery educational content, live minting, marketing costs, tech, and display solutions, special events, and governor compensation. We want to create a long-lasting space and set up rewards to peers for exceptional performance as we mold this new version of the art gallery.
We plan to turn The Gallery DAO into a sustainable model, which may result in spinoff DAOs based off of location, or artistic styles. Our goal is to create disruptive XR experiencves with the goal of creating one the world´s first digi/physi NFT Galleries.
