ONERuDAO. ONE month in review
Hey fam,
As you may know, the ONERuDAO started its journey and was approved for mandates in Dec 2021. Final elections finished on 13th of Dec 2021 and since then the Governing council took over the DAO mandates and deliverables.
Mandates of ONERuDAO
- Growth: onboard users on missions and culture, pollinate values across communities
- Engagement: amplify content of roadmap and milestones, creative campaigns of products
- Diversity: solicit voices and votes in forums, reinforce strong governance participation
Deliverables for ONERuDAO
- $10k for translating open.harmony.one;
- $10k for host 2 meetups for 50 people each;
- $10k for partnering with a regional hackathon of 100 developers;
- $10k for sourcing 5 approved grantees from that language or region;
- $10k for growing a public community to 1,000 active members on Twitter.
We build our work-flow according to a 6-week cycle, so we have 2 stages for the ONERuDAO-1:
Preparation (6 weeks);
Fast Execution (6 weeks).
The IMPACT is incredibly surprising and unexpected for the so short period of time during the ONE month ONERuDAO has been existing:
- Seeding DAO mindset in the ru-speaking community;
- Onboarding new devs to build on top of Harmony;
- Soliciting voices and votes on the forum and governance section;
- Increasing participation in ecosystem projects.
Today, we’re at stage 1 - Preparation and really happy to share with everyone about what has been done for the month since elections:

Setting basics for the open design of the ONERuDAO Charter

Started onboarding funnel preparation. Prepared general structure, poll to collect some basic info about newcomers, telegram bot.

Further deliverables for the Preparation stage:
- Adding DAO tools to the DAO internal working process.
- Onboarding active community members serving as Envoys of the ecosystem partners.
- Finishing Preparation phase (in 2 weeks).
